Spoiler:

Is this a thing? O_O

And beanbags are super comfy and awesome and you should totally get one. Make it your most wanted thing for your b'day!

Step 0: Have money and a place that sells them. Target had them, but almost everyone knows what happened here in Canada...

Almost everyone doesn't include me I'm afraid. You'll have to fill me in there.

Oh damn, that sucks. Any particular reason why they did that?

The showrooms are ridiculously complex to navigate. I could easily get lost, but it scares me so much I don't leave the path much.

there are maps everywhere but the maps don't help. you can try to take a shortcut but it turns you around and you are going in circles. the natural path is the only way.

Yeah IKEA stores are extremely huge... it's pretty damn easy to get lost in there unless if you know where everything is. The fact that Anna's claim about not even the maps helping shows that getting lost really is a big deal.

Beanbag chairs are the best. I used to have a couple, but after moving to a new house 13 years agp I have no idea where they went.

For all of my design classes we have beanbag chairs at the front of the class you can sit on when we're having a lecture or some presentations. Honestly probably the most comfortable beanbags ever and if I wasn't for class, I'd be falling asleep every time I sat on them.

That's it, I'm gonna buy a beanbag for my flat!

That's what I'd say if I could afford one dammit

:O THAT ORANGE BED THO <3

I wish I could customise my flat how I wanted, but sadly, some of the furniture has to stay with the flat, so I can't replace it for anything. Like the bed, the awful awful bed lol

The only thing I can't replace in my current loft is the TV set. Landlord owns it, which means I need to invest on a TV also when I move out soon.

The rest of the stuff here I had to buy (bed, couch, desk, etc).

I can't wait until I'm able to customise my place fully. When I got back to England hopefully that'll be possible!

IKEA's hella expensive to me so having a bedroom decorated with IKEA is just a dream to me lol.

Although if it comes wanting a new furniture... I want a new bookshelf for my manga collection. My current one is way too useless since the hooks for the shelves went missing. :/

To be fair, I rarely go anywhere else than IKEA for furniture so I have nothing to compare their prices to...I think my appeal to their products would probably be because their pieces fit together well so it would potentially make decorating easier than shopping elsewhere.

IKEA is supposed to pretty cheap for its wares. I'm not sure why it would be so expensive o_O

In my defense, everything in Indonesia is expensive. Aside from food, but beef's prices skyrocket during the fasting month.

That would most likely be because the cost to export to Canada based on the populous that consumes the wares is high. Fewer people = less sales = higher prices to compensate
