On one hand, uniforms are neat: You don't have to spend an hour and then some trying to decide what to wear for work if it's casually dressed. You are given assigned clothes, and that's that. However, in my last job, uniforms were a pain to put on. Not only do you have to actually find something your size, you actually have to hope that your size is actually available. If it isn't, then you have no choice but to settle on something smaller or different which would make you stand out like hell.
In my area, I wasn't allowed to take any clothing home (because the clothing itself was rather expensive, I imagine), so that means I have to search through each and every article of clothing until I find something I like (especially hats), and make sure it fits correctly and it isnt too tight, or too loose, etc.
I really don't want to go through that kind of hassle, anymore. It's really annoying as crap.
Oh... Actually I thought they just called a tailor to make the uniforms based on your size then they'd take it off your pay. And you'd get to keep the uniform too. At least that's how they do it for my sis.
