If it will keep me busy for a couple of weeks then I'll be getting it.

Thats the thing with me. I lose intrest in games, real quick. I'll play through a couple times, but then I just get tired of it. Occasionally I'll play it again, but only for about half a hour before getting tired of it again.

Anyone recommend a game that might hold my attention for more then a month?

OMG THANK YOU DONAVANNJ

I'M GONNA GET ALLLLLL THE GAMES YOU GUYS MENTION HERE SO KEEP 'EM COMING PLZ
Spoiler:

I've currently fallen in love with a really old game, MGS 4.

It's amazing, and totally worth it.

Heres a few oldies... that, most likely, none of you would have even heard of.

Heavy Gear 2, Battlezone 2, Tachyon: The Fringe

Old games but great. BZ2 and TTF run on 7 (suprisingly) but HG2 needs Windows ACT installed to run.

HG2 took up endless hours of my time. Numerous weapons to choose from (Forgot just how many, but I think its 75+) and numerous mech's to use (although, the only diffrence between any of them is the design. Weapons, stats, perks and flaws are all customizable) made for a excellent time waster. The only bad thing about this game is that its control configuration... is kinda weird. You can modify it, but you'd have to change numerous controls.) Just to show how weird the controls are, all of the important movement controls are all on the numberpad.

And suprisingly, BZ2 still has a lot of people making new patches and mods for it. The most recent, unofficial patch, was released on 6-9-11. I haven't seen any games up though proably because I'm still running on 1.2 (instead of 1.3 PB 6 R2) but their should be a couple games up for the newest version.

Been thinking of getting MGS 4 and Human Revolution myself sometime, provided I still have money leftover by the time I get Syndicate and Prototype 2.

o_O MGS4 isn't even 4 years old yet. That's not old at all.

Old for me is N64 or PS2-era. Anything before that is irrelevant to me though since I wasn't allowed to own video games until I got a Gameboy Color. :x

Old for me is anything that we used to own but don't anymore. For consoles, that's N64 or older; for handhelds that's GBC or older since I still have a fully operating GBA.

Not sure where that falls in line with other consoles since we've always been a Nintendo family; that's gonna change as soon as I can afford a PS3. The wider availability of JRPG's on the PS3 helped make that decision for me.

^ OMG your sig. My pre-teen hood. </3

My childhood was children's TV shows. TV shows such as Caillou. Pokemon didn't impact my life until fourth grade.

I wasn't even aware it existed until 2002.
