I just love watching Pokémon. I can't think of anything else I would watch...boring :(

I remember watching The Simpsons when I was 8. It was a big thing at school, everyone wanted to act "mature" watching a cartoon "for adults" XD Although a good chunk of the early seasons aren't really adult at all, if anything a children's cartoon with some (good) adult subtext. The Simpsons are no Family Guy.
 
Was never much of a Simpsons person. I first saw it during the time I was growing up but...never really got into it. I guess it's because my family were always kinda prudish in thinking that "shows like that make you lose brain cells" and tried to avoid channels where it was broadcasted, so I never really had the chance to give it a proper watch.
 
Out of interest, what other shows would have been considered "shows that make you lose brain cells"? The only show that my parents flat-out refused to let me watch was South Park, but that was when I was 8, so it's kinda understandable.
 
@Siggy: Well, Fox is indeed highly likely to make you lose brain cells, but not precisely because of The Simpsons XD

I don't remember ever not watching South Park, even at ages where I had no idea what it was on about. In general anyway. Before he left, sometimes dad would watch it with me and explain what all the jokes and stuff meant. I was like... 5 or 6? ~_~
 
Ok so I was walking to town and a random drug dealer walked up to me and asked what time it was and I was able to tell him since I wear a watch. He then starts talking about how he just got out of jail for selling smack on the streets and how he takes cocaine on weekends... it was very awkward and I've never encountered anything like it before. He seemed like a nice guy though, as he was walking away he said "well cya mate, good luck in life" but he was seriously drugged, I could tell.

Anywho, going to a party tonight. Aww yeah.
 
I haven't watched south park. At all.

Well, Ok, I lied. I've seen proably 1 or 2 episodes but thats it. It was about... 6 or 7 years ago. I think. All I can remember is that they are trying to program their tv, and chef complains about their being to many damn options. Then they find a option for Kill All Humans.
 
Same actually. I could never get into South Park because the commercials made me think it wouldn't be for me.

Actually, I did watch it once and I didn't like it I kind of found it stupid. Yet it's kind of ironic that I watch Family Guy which is sort of in the same category as South Park.

Oh yeah I'm close to 1,000 posts. It only took three years to get this close.
 
It took me about two years to hit 1,000 IIRC. Somehow, the next 7,000 after that came a lot quicker, maybe because by then I had cut ties with all other Pokemon forums and was active exclusively on PC.

Oh yeah, Simpsons was the only show out of those I ever watched for any extended period, and even that was years ago. I think I stopped watching regularly once I started college, and that was way back in 2001.
 
I only care about my posts per day but the post count goes up naturally when I do that :( Well actually there's one person I want more posts than but it's not an active goal haha.

True. But I already have another goal after this: 1,500. Let's see if I can do it. I did it on Serebii and Solstice so I can do it here.

And now I just need to get a pair since I don't have one here. ;;
 
Why do you need to get a pair? o-o I'm only paired because it's my bf so it makes sense to pair.
 
My checklist will be complete if I get a pair. It's the only thing I have unchecked currently. But I can't find anyone atm.

Said fan fiction is my only real link to my Simpsons watching days, as my character for it was named Lisa (she was my fav on the show way back when) and the Big Bad Guy was named Bart lololol
