I've watched about three minutes of the first Twilight film, and don't particularly want to see any more. (It was embedded into an article about changing gender roles in cinema; the article was interesting, the clip was not.) I have nothing against vampires or doomed love stories - The Vampire Diaries is legitimately great television! - but nothing about the series of books or films interests me in the slightest.

The Rifftrax are great for those movies. New Moon in particular.

<Insert obligatory penis joke re: Fassbender>

I can't think of any off the top of my head. Where's Andrew when you need him...?

idek who they are but I'm sure you look better.

Also idk, yeah the most recent Twilight one lacked much excitement. :x

Twilight exists so that the main actors could ****-talk it in the DVD commentary.

I was laughing so hard I nearly cried when my roommates and I watched the first movie with commentary on. Kristen and Rob just... do NOT take it seriously at all whereas the director does. So the director says (literally for every scene) "oh, this is my favourite scene, it has a lot of meaning" and then Rob will say something about how dumb Edward is and totally ruin the moment. It's great.

Remember that the director made this movie, so he can't have that much skill as a commentator.

No new episode this week? :( :(

But what will I do with myself on the Monday if the only weekend show I have to catch up on is Game of Thrones? ;_;

Go see The Avengers!

And is Game of Thrones something people can enjoy if they only casually like fantasy stories like it?
I did! Didn't like it enough to see it again. XD; Though I do have pretty much all the movies related to it queued up to watch in the next week.

Game of Thrones is high fantasy but... honestly, it's more like a medieval drama in its early stages. There's only a bit of supernatural fantasy stuff in it. Most of it is violence, sex, and lordly politics. :P I really like it but I never know whether to recommend it to people, haha.
Well, they're making it worse by not airing a double-episode the week after that ;c
sux. ;_;

I'm not used to watching Avatar on a weekly basis. I only got into the first series last year and I marathoned most of it a few months ago, so I was very much used to just watching it on demand with no waiting. :(

10/10 would bang. Live I'm jealous.

Yeah bro all mine mwahahahaha.

Korra is so amazing. I'm a little sad that the Korra discussion and Korra club are kinda... dead. Live, help me out here... Wait, are you shipping us now :(!

Once Batman comes out I can get a Mako theme. ;)

And yes I'll lend my talents to the LOK club.
