Daily Chit-Chat -- Winter and/or Summer Edition

For School days I have to wake up at 6am. I go to bed around 11pm. During the weekends I'm all over the place. I like to stay up late and sleep in until 11 or 12.

If you take multiple showers everyday it kinda runs up the water bill significantly when you get billed per gallon of water consumed.
my apartment covers the water bill, i just pay everything else :cheeky:

I can be suuuuch a lazy person when I want to be. XD; During the week, I'm normally awake at seven (which isn't that bad, really), but on the weekends, I'm dead to the world until at least 10:30/11:00. Every night, I'm in bed between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m., so I could be having quite a bit of sleep or very little at all.

I sleep a lot, actually. I usually get around 5-7 hours a night, but I nap a lot. I'm one of those people that can fall asleep in pretty much anything (car, plane, boat, desk, etc)
I get a lot compared to some of my friends, but I still get tired really easily. I just can't function without enough sleep, so I end up going for caffeine. Problem is, I hate coffee and tea doesn't keep me awake so I drink too much diet soda.

Doesn't caffeine make you even more tired after you use up all of your energy?

Well I just get really drowsy around 1pm and 6pm typically, so if I have to stay awake I drink caffeine to get through. Then I'm usually good for hours. If I crash I'm usually home by then, so I just take a nap.

I'm just a bit concerned. I mean, if I was in your situation, and I drank caffeine to keep me awake, I would eventually pass out if I got anywhere in the vicinity of my bed. Heck, just laying on it would knock me out. .___. I pass out too easily when I'm tired.

Aw I appreciate that, but don't worry. I do typically get a lot of sleep so its not like I'm only surviving on caffeine. But if I get, say, 6 or less hours of sleep that night I end up getting a coke to stay awake during class. I only mentioned it because I try to stay away from too much soda since its not healthy.

Yeah, I've never actually fallen asleep in a high school class before. I actually have to put my head down on the desk and get relaxed to fall asleep, and that's too obvious. Its just really noticeable when I'm tired or drowsy.

5 am? Yikes, I would hate that. I'm in high school and my school starts at 8, so I wake up at 6:30 every day.

Yeah, I'm a really lax person too. I think I'd prefer it if school started later and ended later in the day for me.

Oh, gotcha.
Yeah, I never take showers in the morning because I just refuse to get up early enough to do so. I live pretty close to my school, but I need an hour in the morning to eat breakfast and get ready. Haha I'm not proud of it, but I'm actually pretty high-maintenance with my hair/skin and make-up, so I spend more time on that than I should. And then I have to drive my kid brother to school, too.

So you're a senior? I'm a junior myself. I totally get you. I'm going to miss a lot of people in high school, including a few of my teachers.

Haha yeah I totally get that. I know I don't need to spend so much time on taking care of my face and make-up, but its just one of my things, you know? I like doing my make up.
That's actually when I usually take showers. After school during the week, and then at night or in the morning on weekends. Is your hair really curly and thick or something? A few of my friends are like that, it must be a pain.

Honestly idk what to tell you, but I hear similar things. We keep being told to appreciate our youth and what not, but its easier said than done. Having fun as a teenager and making memories is supposed to come naturally, but sometimes its just not so easy and then we get stressed out. I hope everything works out.

edit: speaking of sleep, I'm going to hit the sack. G'night, it was nice chatting with you. C:

my schedule completely screws up my sleep cycle. most days i don't have anything till the afternoon but a few days i have to get up early

My hair is also wavy-curly and I like to shower every morning. I straighten my hair with a hair-straightener, but I'm really conscious about the health of my hair and skin. I make sure it's moisturized and all that. I wear sunscreen every day- even in winter.. as I believe it's the most important skin product.

I don't really wear makeup though.

Please don't, Kura. And even if you do, keep it natural (meaning from stuff not man-made) and light.

There's all sorts of man-made crap in everything...and the ironic part is it probably takes more money to make the supplies than it takes letting it grow naturally.

That is because you don't NEED make-up. So remember that.

If you want my honest opinion, then yes this place falls into that category as well, if we were talking about natural vs. man-made products, which I wasn't. If I didn't make it clear, I was talking about make-up and the unnatural sources it is sometimes made with, and partially food.

But yeah I think this place sucks, I only come here because they're people I like talking to.
