I feel like post count has secondary function as a nerd'o-meter, measuring just how much of a nerd you are, i.e. if you have 16k posts :P

No, you've been here longer than me and have near-zero posts. You are in the top ten of the IRL cool list.

Lol, for once it's not a compliment!

Join the Canadian Club instead; we have free Canada Dry

omg i love canada dry except i dont get the pic :( is that Drake? when he was on Degrassi?

Yeah that's Drake. I think the picture is supposed to be funny because he's Canadian. And I'm not sure when he was on Degrassi since I never watched it; I just hear he was the wheelchair guy.

Ah, he was on Degrassi when he was about the age he is in that picture.

I feel like the joke would've been better like this: Join the Canada Club, we're sponsored by Canadian Club!

I use PayPal infrequently, but not with prepaid cards or anything like that. If I had more money I'd use it more.

Drake looks so goofy in that pic, haha.

But to the guy a few posts above me, I have not used PayPal with a normal gift card, if that's what you're asking. On another note, i've felt PayPal has been rather frustrating lately...

I really wish money wasn't so tight for me, I've been having the itch to donate for folks and can't...

On the brighter side of things, we're finally paying for something worthwhile - internet. Albeit it's a 15/2 plan over coaxial, it's better than filtered library internet and tethered 3G, so I can't complain. I'm hoping to get a 50/50 plan from Verizon over fibre optics once I get out on my own, safely saying goodbye to copper internet for good. Our 'net is in my name as well, which saved us a $50 deposit, and I have control over the service.

Yeah, I'm being way too optimistic and naïve about this. There's some spite waiting for me, I know it. >_>

In a world where 3k posts is "near-zero"

I used to have the goal of being on the first page of posters by postcount.

Now I have no goal because that's been achieved.

What is a post count, anyway? What's the value in a message board delivery count? I don't understand it's importance.

Don't worry most people like to come in and talk about how little value post count has the second it's brought up and how little they care about it so you're in the majority Alex.

I don't think I should worry about majorities and minorities... should I?

I used to care about it a lot, but after I hit 1K I just stopped. <<
