Yeah, I was kinda referring to when they cry :p but to be honest I have no experience with handling an infant at all :c

I think babies are cute when they cry, unless they have a really ugly cry >< LOL then wouldn't that be just adorable :P I think it's one of those unspoken truths though - cute babies are cute, ugly babies are ehhhh, something we don't talk about...

True that. I hate it when they're over fed. =/ Chubby is cute. Fat? Not so much.

Edit: Amanda said her attention spam is that of a babies. =P

Haha fat babies >< The ones that just sit there and glare at you eh? This discussion might turn really dark if untended to...

I like babies, but not when they cry and wail in those high-pitched screams. They always make me cringe whenever I hear unruly babies scream in enclosed areas such as restaurants or on a plane. ;~; Other than that, babies are cutee! I love it when they smile and laugh when you play peek-a-boo from behind your hands. :3

/me raises hand

babies are cute, really. but when they cry and cry and throw a large tantrum for no reason then no it's not cute at all.

My younger niece is a perfect example. She just... cries and slaps people until she gets carried by her mommy. She also makes a mess even after we clean up after her. It's crazy!

I like babies for the most part. They are so adorable and it's a great feeling when you can make one laugh or smile :3 the crying though is definitely the worst part. My mom always tells me that I was a very big crybaby when I was little.

My parents told me that I was the most clingiest, most tantrum-throwing big baby. I cry for everything and I beg for everything. I didn't let my parents sleep in peace. >:)

My mom says that I was a calm baby, although I did have my fits. Babies are messy, noisy, and they make you stop everything you're doing just to change their diaper for the third time this morning. They take all this time away from your own life goals and personal pursuits, make you put everything on your life on hold, and stop you from putting forth the extra effort so that you can succeed. Do you know what's so crazy about that? It's that we're okay with it. We're okay with putting our entire life on hold and giving up our own dreams to help this helpless little thing grow up and become a functioning member of society.

Well, that's how I always pictured parenthood anyway.
