Tbh I never collected a single card of my whole life. I'm very stingy with my money so I'm like "why should I buy something that I won't use?".

I've never even tried Magic: The Gathering, to be honest. I've heard from a lot of people that it's really amazing, but never really looked into it any.

Dipu! We too shall duel someday, then!

Hahaha, yeah, okay.
Hm. . . Are you alright, Jess?

Yeees, be sucked into the amazing world of Dcc, once again. >:3

Amen to that, Nathan. Frugality, ftw.
I stopped collecting any kind of trading card after I stopped battling/dueling very much.

mhmm.
I honestly fell back into the habit a couple of weeks ago and just never had a chance to tell you. I imagine I'll probably knock it off again after a while. Hopefully sooner than later, otherwise I'll destroy all of the progress I've made. I:

I feel boring now. I only have ever played the Pokemon TCG and I don't even play it anymore haha. I know how, but only a couple of people are actually willing to play against me.

Nyeh, some of the artwork was nice, but overall I just don't generally like pokemon art so much. [/shot]

I don't bother to spend money on Pokemon TCG cards anymore. They're too expensive and lack enough use to be worth it. The art is cool, though, yeah. I actually have used them as references for drawing Pokemon.
...I really should find my pokemon cards. I:

On an unrelated note, someone used the term "getting away with murder" today and it reminded me of the Papa Roach song. Guess what I've been listening to non-stop. :D I had forgotten about it for so long.

I only have a modest section of Pokemon cards. One of my shiniest is a sparkly Ninetales one. But I didn't look into card series outside of Pokemon, tbh. Got a couple from friends/found, I suppose, but nothing to speak of.

It turns out that I have about 4 Pokemon cards left. I know that isn't many but is sure does bring back many fond memories. I remember using these in my decks as a kid and having no clue as to what to do. 3 are just energy cards and one is a Weedle card.

The only experience I ever had with the TCG was the Game Boy Color game. I played the crap out of that game when I was growing up and I've always wished they'd make a sequel to it (besides the Japan-only one). Unfortunately I don't think the Pokemon TCG is big enough anymore to justify that.

Collecting cards and playing the TCG irl never really appealed to me though. It seems like a lot of expense and frustration dealing with the randomness of booster packs and such.

I'm in the same boat as you Geoff, I don't even play the TCG. My usual Pokemon focus is on the main series games and the anime.

I would love to get back into the Pokémon TCG someday.. but the problem is, I don't really have any money on me at the moment. :\ But I guess if I scoured through some of the cards I have from the old days, I wonder if those would be worth anything really, especially some of the duplicates I have.

Also, good morning DCC! How are y'all doing this morning! ^_^

Finally...

Happy Halloween y'all!

Happy Halloween! I love this day even though I don't really do anything anymore. Just seeing all of the pumpkins and fall decorations around really starts to get me in the spirit because I know Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming up soon. Not to mention the fact that I get to indulge on leftover candy ;D

We usually don't get that many trick-or-treaters because of how we kinda live farther out from the city and don't have that many houses around us, but occasionally one or two people will stop by so we try to have some candy on hand.

In past years I always had trick-or-treaters knocking on my door, but my mother has been having a huge grudge towards kids knocking on doors this year due to one offender who always threw his football on the door. I guess that's why I didn't see a single trick-or-treater this year, maybe because they are so frightened of my mother lol.
