Yeah, my Pokemon knowledge isn't the best :P

People on the battle server have called me a "Pokemon know-it-all" and someone (Razor I think?) even said "why have Bulbapedia when we can have her?" but then again I guess my knowledge comes from loads of exposure to sites like Bulbapedia, Serebii and even TV Tropes. I learned quite a lot about pop culture thanks to that site.

Since my first pokemon game was Black, I have a nasty habit of mixing up generations. Nobody has gotten mad about it yet, but it has been a little embarrassing before. I'm just thankful for sites like Bulbapedia and Smogon where I can fix that.

Okay, here's what we're gonna do. Pretend I'm a girl in this fantasy, and you're paying for me. :)

This gets better and better every moment.

Actually the rule about staying on topic went out the window, but no, we can't ban the topics. Stop being grumpy please :P

Much love. What would boring people like me do If I couldn't come in every week and say 'GODOMMAT IT STARTED RAINING AND I COULDN'T RIDE TO WORK FML.' or more than likely within the next few weeks 'ARGGGH! IT SNOWED Now i'm stuck at home with no way out. Supplies diminishing. Send help'

Fairy type is actually really cool and I'm a huge fan of them. <3

Klefki is mah bro. Mawile is awesome too. I always liked both Mawile and sableye, I only with Sableye had been given a fairy type, ghost/fairy. I know it would lose it's almost-unique typing but it would actually be more viable bar a single use in prankster. Or they could have given it a mega evo. That Gem munching goblin is f-ing adorable.

I died a little on the inside, so I felt like sharing.

RIP in peace Dips.

I'm pretty knowledgeable but I wouldn't be surprised if you could out-knowledge me.

On a similar note: I just got a Perfect 6iv Snorlax. Without cheap methods. Go me.

I know how you feel bud, I've been a fan since 1st Gen but never started playing the games until 3rd Gen. However, I managed to learn almost everything in such a short amount of time.

Nice work! I've been tempted to pick up IV breeding, but I heard the mechanics have changed this gen and I'm not sure if I would have the patience for it.

6th Gen would have to be the biggest generation of change in Pokemon. It took ages for many to get used to all the new stuff, even the new type chart that came as a result of Fairy-type.

IV breeding is significantly easier in gen 6, for several reasons. Destiny knot now ensures that the offspring will inherit 5 of it's IVs from it's parents and friendsafari / chaining can produce pokemon with several perfect IVs.

It's still time consuming, but it's not what it was.

I've wanted to get into IV breeding for some time, except I've always found it to be something time-consuming :/ and I don't like having my box full of duplicates, let alone having to release them :(

Yeah, time is definitely one of the downsides of IV breeding. I think the thing I hate most is when I'm on my last pair and I check the offspring's IVs and then it has an outstanding rating and all the IVs I want except for one. It's annoying knowing that I came close but didn't get it.

Or when you get a 5IV Pokemon that has the nature you don't want. x/

How do you even find out IVs in, say, Emerald?

Idek, I think the only way is to use an IV calculator but I'm not sure. IV breeding in gen 6 is really easy and fun! I bred a perfect Golett and Sandshrew in a matter of hours!

IV Breeding is a joke this gen compared to previous gens. I still don't like the pile of "rejects" that are sitting on my box, though.

Look at you guys, breeding pokemon as if they were tools! I'm so ashamed of this most unethical behaviour.

or i'm just jelli i don't have x or y yet
