I have a Gamestop within five minutes of my house if the traffic isn't too bad. That's really good considering I live out in the middle of nowhere.

There aren't any GameStop stores around my house at all. We do have a bakery though, as well as a medium-sized grocery shop. Other than those two, that's about it. xD Other shops are, like, ten to fifteen minutes away from our house, and that's only if you're traveling by car. If you're walking, then it could take up to thirty minutes to get to them.

The closest GameStop is less than 5 miles away up by the University of South Florida, except it's not in a really good neighborhood and it's one of those small locations. I prefer going to the one that's about 10 miles away though since it's larger and it sells a lot more stuff as well.

My closest Gamestop is about 30 minutes away which is unfortunate, but not much I can do :\

Have any of you heard about the new Steam Machine? o: It's Linux-based, and it's set to be released sometime next year. The machine's designed for TV and is meant to be used as a video game console, but I think you'll be able to plug it into a mouse, keyboard, and a monitor and run it as a computer as well. Its controller seems to be very untraditional. d: Instead of a joystick and the four usual input buttons, it has a pair of touchpads. According to Gigaom, this should enable us to move more freely and get faster responses.

Am I the only person who didn't pre-order X&Y? D: I am buying mine from the eshop so I don't have to make a long trip that day and wait in line.

Aha, no worries Chase, I didn't either. I'm not even sure if I'll get it on the 12th :C

Gamestop's a neat place, imo. I remember subscribing to their Game Informer magazine for a year, that was actually a decent read, imo. I've always wanted to try Gamefly, though, that sounds pretty sick if you ask me. Like Netflix for video games!

Gamestop is basically non-existent on my end. But we have EB Games, which is very similar.

Y'know, EB Games is pretty much GameStop. xD They've merged with each other not too long ago, so, yeah. This is why GS always make the same offers as EB Games and vice-versa.

Yeah, I didn't pre-order mine either. I have more important expenses to tackle which doesn't allow me to put some bucks aside for the game. I'll probably jump in late to the party sometime soon <3

^Basically. There was an EB Games about three stores down from the Gamestop in my old neighborhood, and they closed it down about 3 or 4 years ago. EB Games looked exactly like GS, so I thought it was fitting. =P

I don't even have a 3DS :( I think I'll sit back and watch you guys play, do a bit of research on bulbapedia, and then get Z when it comes out next year :P
