I daydream so much in class lately. I don't even follow the professor anymore.

I always have daydreamed in class, but somehow the information that the teacher is lecturing about still sticks. Not as much though now that I am in college :c

My classes are a piece of cake, they're easier than the stuff I took in high school.

That being said, I have a test I'm going to take tomorrow, and I'm freaking out big time. I know most of the stuff, but I don't really ever pay attention in class. Doesn't help that I got kicked out of lecture the other day, so I don't have notes on that day. EEP.

Yeah, high school tends to be a joke for most people. If you went to a good high school, it probably prepared you well for university. How do you get kicked out of lecture? I thought profs dgaf about that stuff anymore.

They dont, but their stupid brown TAs do.

Well, technically I didn't get kicked out, my friend did, but I stuck up for her and pretty much walked out with her. =P

ALSO GENETICS. I DONT UNDERSTAND HEREDITY

It's for Psychology. First four chapters of the textbook, which is basically Intro to Psych, the nervous system, heredity, and whatever it is I learned the day I got kicked out. :I

You got kicked out, what D:

/also good luck on the test!

Oh, don't worry you can handle it. It'll be a lot to absorb so prepare for cramming, but it's definitely doable. Try and come out with 90+ :P

The whole situation was BS. I was sitting in the back of the lecture hall (it's a huge auditorium, about 600 kids, probably more) with a friend, and she and I were talking instead of listening. We got told off by the TA to shut up, and I guess we didn't really listen. Our friend came around a bit later, asking me for help with his laptop. I was trying to fix is, and I was still talking to the first girl when the same TA came around and told her to leave. Not me or my friend who needed help with the laptop, but just her. Which I found total ********, cause I was talking, too, but she didn't say anything to me.

So I sorta defended my friend, and the proctor looked at me and was like "Don't defend her. You can leave, too, if you want". Basically just responded with a "Alright" and then my friend and I left. Laptop boy stuck around. Smh.

Lady was a jerk.

Edit: The whole test is outside of the lecture, and my friends and are are planning to do it together. Basically open internet and everything. Still freaked though, cause I'm hearing that people STILL did bad.

Well, that sucks. But TAs can be jerks sometimes because they may be venting their frustration on you so you don't to get on their bad side, especially if they're responsible for grading you. Anyways, good luck on your psychology exam. I got A on it last semester somehow, I thought some parts were pretty difficult.

And why do I keep browing the internet and playing FIFA when I'm supposed to be studying physics... Tomorrow is going to suck.

Yeah. TA's often don't want to be there, it's a graduation requirement for many of them. Othertimes they're cool though. Perhaps it depends on the faculty - my biochem TA's (both of them, for both sections) taught the class much better than the profs.

Oh hell yeah, the TAs are definitely better teachers imo. One of them lead the lecture on Monday, and he was funny and made the thing interesting.

Many of my TAs never really stood out in terms of teaching but there were couple of good personalities, one of my physics TAs last semester was actually in my computer science class o_o
