We should all go to Japan. I'll book a flight, let's meet up in Memphis.

Guys, Wooly just said that he won't be coming over 'til Summer. He won't need to worry about keeping warm in the States in December.

Yeah, road trips can be fun! So long as you know how to pack light. Unlike my family.

Also, I don't have a "Real" (9-5) job. I guess that makes me a deadbeat artist, but hey. Dx

Honestly, I need a job, especially if I'm gonna be paying for school either now or later through loans.

Yeah, mostly i got nothing to do, like i have now since im a week off college...

My #1 concern besides school is ROTC. It's like, my life. XD

My father is uber against me getting a job, says I can't be trusted. IMO, he's full of crap and he knows it. :P

I already have one. Pays well, but it bores me to tears at times.

What do you mean about them being really biased?
Biased in terms of how they liked ROTC and that it's a good class, because these are all people that are going into the military

I knew people also in ROTC that hated the class because they didnt want to be in it, but were either forced into it or their parents made them

Haha yeah. Some of the people I used to go to cadets with are now these military type people who read conservative media and get butthurt over the smallest "liberal" things. It's a bit pathetic as they're smart people and yet they can be so petty.

Oddly enough, my Army JROTC unit is chock full of liberals. Our two Army Instructors (retired Command Sergeants Major) are both ultra-conservative, however our SAI (retired Lt. Colonel) is very liberal. Believe it or not, both of our rifle team commanders are closet liberals in families of conservatives.

ROTC's fun, and I guess I'm kind of lucky to get the new Dress Blue Army uniform as a second-year cadet. Normally only third- and fourth-year cadets get the dress blues, but because I'm part of color guard I get blues. They're WAY better than the old pickle suits. Plus they have gray berets rather than the old crappy garrison caps. :D

I'm not really a military guy. If I ever work for military in any sense it'll have to be related to programming, though I have 0 interest in military so I doubt I'll ever even consider it.

Colour guard? Does that mean flag party? :P Do you carry the flags or are you an escort ;)

Well, in a military color guard team, there's two types of teams: a 4-man and a 6-man. Our two 6-man teams are in 7th-hour Foxtrot company, and we have 6 4-man teams for after school. I'm national flag for the Delta (D) 4-man, and battalion flag for the Bravo (B) 6-man. The purpose of teams is for presenting the colors (which involves Sabre Team), and posting the colors indoors.

Believe me when I say that a JROTC color guard is ten times more organized and disciplined than any band-related color guard. ;D
