I remember that one time when I had no avatar, people would freak the freak out. Like...come on, let me live with no avatar it's not the end of the world or anything :(

I wonder why... maybe they thought you were attempting to leave or something. It's been ages since I last lacked an avatar. People thought I was trying to leave the forum when that happened.
 
Dipu, Hikari can make the avatar, and I'll index it in Photoshop for ya. It's my obsession to index images as seamlessly as possible. :3

Also, is it weird that I prefer no profile picture over no avatar? I like using a spacer on my non-supporter accounts, because the limits on profile pics for non-VIPs is really small.
 
It's been nearly a month now since I've gone without an avatar. I'm used to it now, especially in the way it looks when I post. The giant question mark that appears whenever I leave VMs is annoying though. I've been looking through my massive collection of possible avatars, but nothing really seems to strike me. I might go through the collection again and see if my opinion has changed.

I can't really go long without a signature. I might not have something fancy, but I at least always have something. Even if that something is the same shiny Nidoking who's been there forever.

I always look at the best image sources yo, it's something I'm quite good at. Tumblr is usually my go-to source.

And that's funny, I actually do like having a profile pic. It makes my profile look "complete", and I remember how terrible my profile used to look. Now I never want to remember how terrible of a noob I was.
 
ehh noob days, those good-ol noob days. i'd like to read what my old posts were like, but the 500 limit prevents me from doing so.
 
I can easily find my very first post...which is at one of the old NU Hangout threads back in the day. :3

& yeah...dat 500 limit. It prevents me to look through all my 7,000 posts :(
 
I mean, I can make myself an avatar no problem. I just don't know what do have my avatar be. I wanted a star related avatar, but nothing looked nice. D:

Yeah, the 500 limit always annoyed me. I remember recalling my first ever post was in the Fifth Gen section here, back when it was known as Black & White and good old Kaori and Nica were the resident mods. I actually joined PC around 8 days after the Pokemon Black & White games were released in Australia.

I never even made an introduction thread... but I'm still wondering how different it would have been if I did make one back then.

I think I've got the perfect idea for you, a starry sky? I recall I used to have something like that as the background on my profile sometime last year. It was what my profile looked like at the time my supporter tier was upgraded from T4 to T5.
 
Welcome threads were never really my thing. Heaven knows what my first post on here was. :/
 
I'm not, though. :P Tons of ex-staff still have an HTML usertitle. Drew and Derozio are two examples.

True, I'm just used to the phrase 'usertitle' LOL

As for what it actually means, meh, might as well be honest. It's what I called my girlfriend on our first date, basically. I was being cute and ****. Came home and found a nice gif for my profile and went "why the hell not".

Tah da.

Edit: cute poem, but the epic double post fail just kills it LOL
