The last few books I read, I never did finish. I ended up just returning them to the library. Not that they weren't interesting, but I guess you could say it was a matter of preferring to do something else and trying to find the time. I have the three Hunger Game books to read on my iPad along with John Green's The Fault in Our Stars, which I've wanted to read for a long time now. I just have to put myself down and read them, but I'm always on here instead!

I've heard The Fault in Our Stars is a good read. I should pick that up when I've finished with my existing pile of books. It shouldn't be a surprise - John Green's books are all rather excellent I should say. Those of his that I've previously read got me hooked very easily. Finished each book within a day or two.

I've been meaning to read that, too. I have a bunch of books sitting around that are waiting to be read, but I don't know if I will once my finals are over. On the top of my list to read are books 2 and 3 in A Song of Ice and Fire series.

But unfortunately I still have to survive the next 26 hours or so. I have a final later today and one tomorrow morning. :/

John Green rests as my favorite author right next to JK Rowling and Lemony Snicket. The thing I love about his books, and hate at the same time, are how tragic they typically tend to end. It's never truly a happy ending with him which I appreciate even when all I want are for these characters I've invested myself in to just be happy. The last John Green book I read was Paper Towns (loved it) and that was a year or two ago. I still have a few other books from him that I can't wait to dive into, but The Fault In Our Stars is the one I've been meaning to read the most.

You should definitely read all of them, but be prepared, they will take you quite some time to read. I'm a pretty fast reader and it still takes forever when the books are 300-400k words xD

Heard The Fault in Our Stars is a really good read. I will pick up a copy very soon. <3

I'm also really into the Divergent series, I read the first book as a school assignment for psychology class and really loved it. The third book came out this year and I still need to get through Insurgent.

I saw the preview for Divergent and it looked really good! I should probably read the books now. I had never heard of it until I saw the preview for the film.

Ugh... books... they're my kryptonite, basically. I know reading books is a good thing, but I can't concentrate for more than 5 minutes when I'm reading.

Like book books or textbooks? I haven't read fiction in a very very very very very long time.

I don't know him much as an author, but I love him as a youtuber. Might be one of my heroes, if I had any. I think he is just such a great educator.

Hm perhaps your environment is not conductive enough for reading :/ Maybe when you tried reading, your mind wasn't prepared for it? Haha. It happens to me as well, but with a comfortable sofa and good backlight, no one can get so much as a twitch from me when I'm buried in my books. :P

Speaking of which I seriously need to finish up Deathly Hallows lmao. I've been reading the Harry Potter series all over again, and omg it's amazing ^O^

Ooh that's an amazing book series. I read it in three weeks before I saw the sixth film.

It's official. This place is a staff magnet.

I don't read much anymore, aside from studying and manga. I used to read quite often, but no books (other than manga) have managed to catch my attention real well lately.

I know how you feel. For a long time I used to dread having to read books. Never did I read anything by my own choice. It wasn't until about my freshman or sophomore year in high school (I can't remember which) that I started spending more time in the school library and finding myself picking out books to read. I actually had a few friends who influenced this on me, so perhaps if you've got some friends who like to read you should spend some time around them. Maybe their interest in books and talking about them might peak your own interest. That's kind of how it worked for me.

I think it was last year I found out he was actually a really popular Youtuber. That only made me love him as a person even more. I still can't figure out what's stopping me from subscribing to his channel yet.

Ooooh, the Harry Potter series is fantastic. Since I never liked reading before high school, I was late to jumping on the bandwagon. Better late than never though, and so glad I did.

if only you could see the staff dcc

I always lurk in here from time to time, but I've been feeling like people on PC don't really know me as a person very much. So I thought posting in here more might help some get to know me better, and I might make some new pals along the way too!

I read like a monster. Borrow 4 books a week from the library, and read an additional 5 I add to my personal collection. I've read so much lately, but its really given me an insight of my soul. Deep stuff, man.

I'm better off reading books on the computer/laptop than reading anything that's imprinted in a book or a novel. Is that weird?
