6th Gen Did you trade all your pokemon to ORAS?

Did you transfer all your pokemon from XY to ORAS?
Do you think XY will stay the "main game" or is it ORAS now?

I had to stop playing ORAS for a while because of my final exams and the end of the semester, and now I can finally play again (yaaaaaaay!) and I don't know if I have to trade all my pokemon or not.

Yup. Well, except a Talonflame (since you have to keep at least 1 Pokémon).

I've transferred a few back since for breeding purposes. Since I have the Shiny Charm on X and not AS (yet), I'm trying to MM a few things before switching over entirely.

I did Bank a few 5 IV'd Pokémon that I had in X over to Omega Ruby, like Deino, Venipede, and Sylveon, the latter of which I started getting ready before I even beat the game, haha. As well as a few others that gained Mega Evolutions in this one. But I didn't transfer all my 5 IV'd stuff yet; i'll probably nickname some of them before I do.

Nope because I'm not interested in Bank and I like the feeling of "starting over" when I start a new Pokemon game. At any rate, if I want a Pokemon not found in the region I'll just use the GTS for it.

I have my Pokémon in the Y version. Some of them were transferred to try out the new Megas, like Lopunny, Beedrill, etc. Several Pokémon like the Dittos are also in the Y version, as well as some breeding and training items, I'm just kind of refused to transfer them xD

I would like that XY stay as the main game, like some sort of "base game", but ORAS will replace it with the time. Is not a bad thing, just that XY could be played a lil bit more, imo.

Yup, I banked and moved almost all of mine. All I have left in X is a lv. 72 Chespin that was used for breeding, a lv. 30-something Glameow traded to me from my boyfriend when I was giving him a spare 'mon with Destiny Knot, and a lv. 5 Fletching for Fly.

What an empty Kalos league champion I have become.

When I press new game, it's generally because I actually want to start a new game. When I have all my Pokémon from another game, it's not a new game. So I didn't.

I bred a bunch of competitive-worthy Pokemon ahead of time in preparation for OR/AS and I only transferred the Hoenn-available ones over with Poke Bank pre-National Dex, and everything else post-National Dex. I deliberately left a few trade-exclusive ones in X/Y so I could evolve them upon trading them over.

I transfered everything from Y to OmegaRuby after finishing the game. Took a while, because out of fear that Pokebank would fail I only transfered 5-6 boxes each time. I also used the GTS loophole (trading with myself) to trade some of the more valuable items over (Master Ball, Leftovers, Destiny Knot, Lucky Egg). I might replay Y eventually, when I feel like it.

All I did was transfer my living dex as well as my breeding parents to my OR. And a Talonflame for breeding purposes.

My old party, shinies and such are still left in Y. I open my Pokemon Y sometimes for the Friend Safari.

Initially i did not transfer any over, but after battling Groudon about 20 times i decided to transfer over my 'Trap Team' which consisted of all lvl 80+ Pokemon and then when i beat the Elite 4 the first time, i went and moved over everyone from Pokemon X to OR, to complete the PokeDex

i have since moved all of the Pokemon my wife and kids wanted from their X and Y games into their new OR or AS games

I started over from scratch in ORAS. :)
And now I'm going to complete my Pokédex without aid from XY, using Wonder Trade and GTS for the Pokémon that I can't get within the game.

I did on omega ruby with some, but on alpha sapphire, I did after the main story and delta episode. mainly for the data of them.

I didn't touch a Pokemon game for ~ 6 years and changed that back in May. I've played through Diamond, HeartGold, Black, White, Y, and now Alpha Sapphire, and have ported over my entire dex to each game, not only because I've been working on completion, but also because starting fresh would be a huge setback after an extended break from the series.

So yeah, I still use my team from Diamond for the Elite 4 and sometimes the 8th Gym Leader whenever I play through a new game.
