Do you believe in the paranormal?

It's not something I walk around actively thinking about, but if something especially ghost-ish or otherwise paranormal happened, I'd believe it on the spot.

I took a picture of a house and in front of the house in the picture I took, there is a ghost in my picture. Talking about the picture now creeps me out. I still have the picture saved too.

Come on, don't hold out on us like that! :P

I have mixed feelings about the paranormal. First off, if these kind of things were real, then it wouldn't be paranormal, it would be normal and natural, ya?

Second, I believe in the afterlife in the sense of our energy and particles moving on through the world, into other life, but I'm not so sure our 'self' is maintained in this process. I hope that is the way it is, but I'm really not sure. I guess I will definitely know or not when I die, though. :P

Edit: Also, I like to keep an open mind about things, since there is so much unknown. It seems that just about all the phenomenon in our world can be explained with science. However, if there is 'the other side of the veil', then maybe these same things that occur are actually something else on this other side, and these things overlap into our world. For instance, every rare once in a while when I reach down to pick something up, put on my shoes, or anything like that, I get this weird headrush, and it causes me to see these tiny specks of light floating in front of me for about 5 seconds or so. It would be obvious that this is just some weird headrush, but I like to imagine that I'm really seeing a bunch of tiny faeries, lol. :3

Why I don't have any experiences with it, I do believe in it, since there is proof everywhere.

This place is totally haunted, I hear shit in my room all the time

Editing exists.
I'm not saying that there's no such thing as the paranormal, but I don't think any of the evidence presented by anyone thus far is particularly convincing.

I suppose it is just left up to the imagination I guess.

Yes and no,

I'm highly skeptical of claims of alien abductions taking place here on earth or other paranormal entities like ghosts or demonic possession. I don't even believe that God is something to interpret literally. I prefer to read religious texts from all around the world as symbols and allegories, rather than the expectation of an afterlife.

However, expressing skepticism is not the same as denying the possibility of the extraordinary. I am open to the belief that in unexplored regions of universe exterrestrial life could exist. I'll even buy that celestial bodies might have an influence on human behavior that we don't fully understand. Even Carl Sagan who as I understand him did not believe in astrolology made this surprising statement in 1976, "That we can now think of no mechanism for astrology is relevant, but unconvincing. No mechanism was known, for example, for continental drift when it was proposed by Wegener. Nevertheless, we see that Wegener was right, and those who objected on the grounds of unavailable mechanism were wrong."

There are other things that might otherwise be explained as phenomena that I find interesting, and time may tell more as we continue to learn about the human brain. Lets say people experiencing their health improve after only taking placebo, or perhaps a sensitive individual experiening a vivid dream about dramatic changes I.e premonition.
