Do you discard your games' boxes?

I always have a box to store all my cartridges etc.

The original boxes are seriously seemingly taking up my spaces in my very small cupboard-- I've been thinking of dumping them all away.

Thoughts? Do you keep or discard yours too?
(P.S - I wish the boxes will get smaller now that the cartridges are so much smaller compared to olden days too!)

I like to keep them if I can keep them in good condition.

However, none of my earliest ones were kept in good condition, so I threw them out since they weren't in any condition to display. I'd say keep 'em if they're still in good condition.

As for the recent games, they've all come in plastic game cases in my country, so they're easier to keep in good condition and the plastic game cases are nice and handy storage means for the games.

All my GBA games came in cheap cardboard boxs, that plus the fact I was young meant they all went in the bin pretty much straight after opening them...
Anything that came in a plastic box is still stored away in a cupboard somewhere though and I wouldn't consider throwing them away because, as dovahkiin (oh man, I've been reading that name wrong for months) said above; they make great display items :)

I still have my Pokemon game boxes in my room today, at least from Diamond & Pearl all the way to Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. I like to look at them for show, which is weird but I enjoy it that way.

I always keep them just in case I wanna go back to playing. I never do but who knows, right?

I always keep my game boxes nowadays

The earlier ones, I don't have anymore since they got all worn out. I do have most of the ones from the plastic cases since they are easier to keep in good condition.

I don't have any of the original cardboard ones, but from the DS up I have most of the boxes. The Platinum tin one is possibly my fave as it's pretty unusual.

I keep all of mine in their original boxes/cases. Others prefer buying a separate container to keep their cartridges in, but I think it looks cool arranging the original packaging in a shelf or something. It's a lot like having a collection of books or movies :)

I keep my Y and OR boxes/case safely in my locker, it just to show my greatest hobby

The newer ones, I've kept safe and in almost perfect condition. My old , original covers from the Advanced Generation and below are pretty much lost to history xD I just didn't think about it too much back then, like I do now :P

These days, I keep them for storing my games. With the older boxes (RBY, GSC, RSE, FRLG), I kept some of them, but not all of them.

Yep! I've started making a habit of keeping all my boxes, ever since I got my 3DS. Before that, I tended to lose track of all my boxes pretty often, so I don't have a whole lot of them left anymore. Most of my DS games are kept in my DS Lite carrying case.

I try not to do so. I definitely won't toss the boxes of newer games. But older boxes? Any that I've thrown away before, it's because I lost the box and then rediscovered it in a state that was definitely not worth keeping. Or rather, someone else found it and thought it wasn't worth it. That's assuming the box was ever found again at all.

Although one of those older boxes has somehow survived: I still have my heartgold box somewhere, and in decent condition too. It might have gotten a little crunched up though.

I kept the boxes for the DS and 3DS games because they were great storage cases, and since I was/still am a bit of a mess, I like having a larger object to keep the game in because I have a harder time losing larger objects. Plus, they are easier to store because I can just put them on a CD rack and they fit perfectly.

I had the box for Fire Red I think... and as far as I know I threw it out because it was cardboard and less durable and didn't have a built it storage case. I got all my other older games used and they didn't come in cases. I just kept them in the same boxes as the DS games because they have a slot for GBA games. Nowadays I have them and the two GBC games I own in a small, Lavender Soap Box.

I have all my game boxes but I seem to misplace a lot of my physical cartridges such as the ones for Platinum, Diamond and Black. It's a shame since I often open up the game boxes so I can play and go "... oh."

To answer the question though, I don't discard them. I've never had a reason to throw them away and they look quite nice piled up on my bedroom desk. 8)
