You Americans and your hot climate. D:

Having a pool over here in the humble UK would be seen as the height of luxury. Especially when it rains in the summer. >_>

^ exactly this.

That and I find the British climate a bit too frightful to maintain a pool of my own, I would rather just hang out at the leisure centre whenever I'm in the mood for swimming.

We used to own a pool, but it was a crappy above-ground pool so it was difficult to manage. It was pretty much just a tub of water. xD We don't own one anymore.

Sadly, no. I wish I did though./\/\/\

no, i dont.:disappoin but i can live with out one i guess....

Nope, I don't but there's one not too far away from my house. It'd be pretty fun to have a pool though.

Agreeing with Horizon and Signomi xD; I don't even like swimming that much, though I can get discount at the local leisure centre fitness suite if I want to.

We always have pools when we go on holiday though - in Spain, Portugal and Florida we've always rented a holiday home with a pool.

One of my childhood friends has a massive garden, and they've had a nice built-into-the-ground pool inside a sort of greenhouse thing since forever. We used to go over there loads in the summer. It's just walking between the house and the pool that's the bother.

...it would be hard for me, since I live in the second floor in a flat XD

But eh, only very rich people have them. plus, who needs one being 10 minutes from a public pool?

What Went said.
(Well, I suppose the Queen's English would suggest I live on the first floor...)

My dad used to own a pool a few years ago, but it has since been taken down. We used to use it often during those miserably humid fun Indiana summers, but it didn't see too much use after my siblings and I got older. Funny thing about larger above-ground pools, the grass never quite grows back. XD

A pool? Hahaha, that's hilarious. In England, on warm days, I still wouldn't want to swim in a pool. Maybe really warm days...but how often are they? :/ There would be no space, anyway. The garden isn't big enough and the neighbours can look over.

I live next to a park which has (indoor) pools... but no, I don't own one.
I don't like swimming.

Nuu I don't. It doesn't matter to me if I have one or not, I don't swim.

Nope, because home is in an area where cold climate is not conducive to swimming. Also, I can't swim. And also because chlorine causes me to break out in hives (which is the reason I never learned how to swim).
