It was surprising because NY is not known for having any natural disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes or earthquakes. Yet we faced all 3 in the last few years. x.x

Well that earthquake happened in Virginia but we felt the edge of the shock up here.

One main natural disaster that Washington State might have to deal with is volcanic eruptions. This is because there are volcanoes that are part of the Pacific Ring of Fire in Washington State. The last major one occurred back on May 18, 1980 with the eruption of Mount St. Helens.

The weather last year was crazy, to say the least. It never fails to amaze me, though, that even in hellish weather there's always somebody out jogging. In blazing heat, in frigid snow, cockroaches and joggers will outlive us all...

I can't wait to move to the UK. Fog, rain, and a drizzly day in Holland Park. Ah, the cobblestone!

I don't jog, but I like taking the longest paths around campus when i'm coming to and from classes or to other areas. It's not very convenient but makes for decent exercise to me.

There's a bike trail behind my neighborhood that I love taking when the weather is nice enough...with the freeze warnings, I've been staying away, though

Which kind of Korean?

South Koreans are pretty cool people.

North Koreans...eh...well...depends.

It was a reference to the fact that South Koreans a huge drinkers, although I don't think I conveyed that message, haha.

Sounds like my people. What's wrong with wanting to party? XD

Seriously, none of my friends drink, so I'm looking for anyone to be my wingman at a bar, South Korean or not.

Nothing wrong with it. It was a reaction on the drinking behavior of the swedes. Most of my friends are big drinkers, I'm the only on that doesn't drink much. I usually only drink at dance parties, and even then I won't get drunk, but sometimes I have to carry them away while they try to kiss a guy in drag and can't walk anymore. You would like them, I think, haha.

See, this is why I need South Koreans.

Your bar/party experiences are way more interesting than mine.

Well, that one I may have made little better with some imagination, but I have a quite attractive friend who always knows how to find the crazy girls at parties. It's always fun to see him struggling to get away after a kiss and having heard that he is the perfect boyfriend material or that her grandma would love him. Recently it calmed down, though, because the legal drinking age is 18 since 2014, and me and half my friends aren't 18 yet.

Ah, the Netherlands.

Here in the US, the drinking age is still 21. And it still makes no sense.

How old are most people in America when they start drinking?
