Fave Pokemon Region!

Best region for Pokemon - Kanto
Best region for Scenery - Johto
Best Region for Legendary Pokemon - Johto
Best Region for Anime - I don't really watch the anime, but I'd say Kanto (oldschool)

Best Overall: Johto, but I like things like the hilarious antics of Hoenn.
What about things like the battle frontier? I like the Hoenn battle factory and tower.

Kanto was the perfect first region. It was diverse enough to offer memorable Pokemon and locations, yet it wasn't too big. Places such as Mt. Moon and the Safari Zone offered interesting Pokemon and were memorable. Johto had a distinct Japanese feel to it, due to the climate and architecture. Although it was small, it had a great assortment of Pokemon and areas. Hoenn was a very tropical region, what with all the water, the beaches, the waterside caves, and places like the vast rainforest housing such memorable Pokemon as Tropius and Absol. Sinnoh was cold and, well, boring! Even cities such as Hearthome and Snowpoint couldn't save this area. Sinnoh also had the worst Pokemon; one of the few cool ones, Chatot, belonged in tropical Hoenn, not dreary Sinnoh. Unova is much different; it is a mainly urban region with an assortment of many different Pokemon. Unova has many different locations, and while many aren't very memorable, some, such as the desert, Chargestone Cave, and Opelucid city are very memorable. Overall, the best region (in my opinion) is Hoenn. Hoenn had many interesting Pokemon and locations and some of the best music in the game. Anyways:

hmm.
My favorite Pokemon are pretty much in the Kanto region. I suppose that's the nostalgia talking XD; The best scenery would have to be Unova - it's absolutely breath taking, honestly. However, if Hoenn is remade with improved graphics, I would say it's definitely Hoenn.
My favorite legendary Pokemon primarily come from Sinnoh. Most of them are just adorable / awesome... mainly Shaymin. :3

The best region for the Anime? Hm. I'm thinking it's probably gonna have to be Sinnoh. :) It was pretty much an awesome region haha.

Overall, though? D: I don't know. Hmm.
I really like Hoenn. I think it has a lot of diversity and whatnot. I mean, it's home to awesome places like Fortree, Sootopolis, and Pacificdolg (omg I can't spell that for my life)~
 
Unova, it's just so well designed and put-together. Not to mention the whole aesthetics.

Note that I haven't played any Gen 4 or 5 games that much so not fair answers but oh well...
 
My favourite region is definitely Hoenn region! Because it's a Tropical Region, and by far, my favourite generation is 3rd Generation. Perhaps I'm just biased, but I really do think Hoenn has the best Pokemon and the best stories!

Johto <3 I loved all of Johto's Pokemon and to me they seem best designed, although I love Unova's Pokemon, Johto's seem nostalgic to me :3

Unova defs, it looks amazing.

Best Region for Legendary Pokemon
Unovaa! Actually--yeah, Unova or Johto. Although Johto didn't have that many, it's a definite toss up between them, because I really love the genies from Unova/hunting them down as well as Reshiram/Zekrom and I love the Lugia movie and the in-game locations of both Ho-Oh and Lugia, plus the dogs were awesome. XD;

Hoenn, yeah the Hoenn region I've probably watched the most episodes of and the ones I saw looked better than the Johto/Kanto ones.

Best Overall
Unova. Not 100% sure why, but it's the best to me.

I just love Unova overall. I can relate to the places in it since I live near NY, and the Pokemon are obv just great. As far as legendaries go though, I'd have to say Kanto because that was before they were thought of as "just another thing to grind towards", because they were omgsospecial.
