Welcome to the third annual Favorite Pokémon Tournament here in Pokémon General, where our goal is to determine the favorite Pokémon of the users here at the PokéCommunity! This will be a tournament that lasts several months, where we'll pit almost all the Pokémon from different types together to determine a winner. After we know the winner of each type, we'll add all of those Pokémon to a final poll, where the winner(s) will be crowned champion, and be known as PokéCommunity's favorite Pokémon!

If you haven't had the opportunity, please read the Rules/FAQ to find out more about the tournament:​

Spoiler:

• Every week, two new polls will be stickied at the top of Pokémon General. Each thread will include a different elemental type, and the list of Pokémon to vote from.
• You aren't required to pick just one Pokémon- you can vote for as many as you like to ensure your favorites get through. The Pokémon with the most votes at the end of the week will face off against the other winning Pokémon in a final poll to crown the champion!
• In order to preserve space, we've grouped all of the applicable evolutions in a Pokémon family together. Some Pokémon (ex.: the Nidoran families) may be exempt from this rule.
• In the event of a tie at the end of the week, all Pokémon tied for first place will advance to the finale.
  
• Furthermore, members who vote and post for a majority of weeks during the tournament will receive an emblem depicting the winning Pokémon!
• If there are any questions that you need answered, feel free to leave a comment in this thread or send a VM to Brendino to get it sorted out.

Honestly I don't want to end up picking most of the options available so I only picked one this time. :v

Articuno has always been one of my most favorite ice-type Pokemon. I mean c'mon, look at it. It's so beautiful~

also I noticed I tend to look at designs for my favorite mons hahaha

Articuno is my most favorite ice-type Pokemon.. It along with Charizard makes up the key Pokemon of my Fire and Ice team

I picked Shellder, Lapras, Articuno, Snorunt, Regice, Froslass, and Aurorus! Ice is one of my favorite types so naturally I chose a lot :P My favorite of the bunch is definitely Froslass though ^^

I've went with Spheal, Cryogonal and Vanillite as being my favorite Ice Types. These pokemon are the only ones that I've battled with.

Articuno, Glaceon, and Froslass get my vote. Articuno was literally my saviour in the first generation games; without it I would never have beaten Lance that first time around (or Blue, probably) and I've always been fond of the Legendary Birds as a group. It's beautifully elegant in design and I love everything about it <3

Glaceon is the only Eeveelution I actually like. We should have gotten this in the first generation instead of Vaporeon, which is an ungodly sin against existence for its hideousness. Glaceon also has a very nice shiny form, something the other Eeveelutions can't really claim...well, Umbreon's is alright I suppose, but the less said about the likes of Jolteon and Espeon, the better...

Froslass is part-Ghost, and I adore ghost types, so. Automatic vote.

Vanillite!! It's so cute, I love it so much!!!!! I'm admittedly not a huge fan of Vanilluxe but Vanillite is so cute I don't even mind. I've never really cared much for ice types so this line was the first ice line I really paid attention to at all and I really enjoyed using them. The only downside was that their shiny isn't chocolate flavour. :'(

One of my least favorite types, though cool they just don't do it for me. That being said i really love one line a lot....(drum roll)....

The Snorunt line! But not for the reason many others have. I actually love Glalie the most. I always thought it was so cool looking design wise and it had some sweet attack power. So i just fell in love with it from the start.

Lapras - I've used Lapras in over half of my in game teams. For some reason, she just does what she's supposed to do better than anyone else!

Articuno - It's Articuno, let's be real here. This majestic bird deserves nothing less.

Sneasel - I was hesitant to catch a Sneasel in Platinum but that Sneasel one hit KO-ed Cynthia's Garchomp like a beast and so, Sneasel weaseled it's way into my favourites.

Regice - It's Regice, it's adorable.

Glaceon - Eeveelutions are eeveelutions.

Only voted for two families this time: Lapras and Amaura/Aurorus. I'm still a dinosaur freak, apparently.
