6th Gen First Pokemon Demo

I have no idea. I signed up but didn't get a demo code. :/
But maybe you should sign up to receive newsletters now, so hopefully we can get one on the 31st.
I did and if not I'll go steal the one from Darell at GS since he doesn't play pokemon.

The date on that link says the week of the 31st though.

. The US Demo will be distributed from tomorrow [Oct 21] through the Pokémon Trainer Club Newsletter, which can be signed up for on the official site, but you need to sign up today [Oct 20] so be sure to make sure you have signed up for it. -- Serebii.net

In order to receive the demo code from Pokémon Trainer Club:
  • Your account's 'Country' must be registered as US.
  • You should also opted for Trainer Club Newsletters.
  • You must also signed up before October 21.

Spoiler:

My newsletter does not have that 'OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire code-section'. Since my account didn't register US as its country. So... No demo for me.

The email's title is different too, my newsletter's title says 'Spooky Pokémon Fun Just In Time for Halloween'. While according from what I gathered, those with demos code attached to their newsletter has 'Get your Demo for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Now!' as the email's subject instead.

I have not completely verified this, I just realized and gathered this on my own. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. ^^

Alright, I cleared the first mission. The Glalie I caught ended up with pretty bad IVs, but I'm not too miffed about that, since I'm planning on breeding another Snorunt to use the Glalitite with.

Also, I now realize that my soft-resetting for IVs in that first mission was moot, since the Sceptile I used ended up being replaced by a different one, along with the other two Hoenn starters.

For those who don't have the demo yet, this is your team for the second mission onward (in spoiler tags for those who don't want to gets spoiled):
Spoiler:

I think I can confirm this. I just got my newsletter for one of my emails, and it didn't have the demo code inside. The title is the Spooky Halloween as well.

As for my primary email, there's still no newsletter. Ah well, Nintendo newsletter it is.

Codes will be emailed the week of Oct. 31 to select Nintendo customers with Nintendo Network IDs who have signed up to receive promotional emails from Nintendo. -- Serebii.net

By Nintendo newsletter, I guess you are referring to Nintendo Network IDs which was mentioned by Serebii. :) I wonder if the customers are randomly selected and how many quotas are there?

My current question is, was there really any requirements to register an email when registering a Nintendo Network ID?

I'd check my Nintendo Network ID settings right now, but I have no working WiFi connections around.

I recall an email address is required when I first setup the NN ID.

I checked my own settings and my very own email address (that I registered with) was shown.

Unless that Nintendo Network ID meant something else (lol duh!), we should be receiving our OrAs demo codes (if we are chosen?).

I asked around and i managed to get a US code. I also have a UK/EU code if any1 wants it. also i found out gamespot is giving them out.
and i pre odered my OR at like 1 am yes morning and didnt receive any code [since i was late] but now i can try and rack up my points again and try to get 25 dollars off.

I went by my GS today and they know nothing of the demo codes and I preordered my games months ago, so is this some thing that just came about?

Gamestop employees may not know anything. And i ment i got my EU code from gamespot not gamestop. I vmed u where the Eu giveaway is that i got my code from. Also where i asked for my US code they have plenty of people giving away spare EU codes.

If that's the case then what I hope from Nintendo is that they send the demo codes to those with NNID that hasn't registered a demo code yet.

I guess I need to check my NNID as soon as I'm around a stable WiFi.

At least my NNID's region is registered as US thanks to the non-existing region of Indonesia.

Loved the demo. Was good fun and cool that you get a few little reward with you to the full game after. Just enough tease for me.

I preordered the full game already . Saphire alpha.

I still haven't got my code yet. Has anyone else still not received it either?

I didn't get a good nature Glalie. I wish we could've RNG it...oh well, I too plan to breed a Snorunt. Now if only my Glalie were female so I could get one as soon as I get to the daycare...

Okay, turns out that my other newsletter was located in the old e-mail I used for Pokemon.com. Too bad my region isn't signed up as US, so I didn't get it over there as well.

Hopefully I'll get the Nintendo Newsletter. I just turned on the opt to subscribe, which I had never noticed 'til now. But hey, if anyone of you who had gotten the codes ended up getting an e-mail with a code, lemme know please?

Why does this game still run like ass?

RSE was 60fps. No excuses. No amount of tacked on additions will make it surpass the original if it performs worse.

Skipping this game after the demo. X/Y was the last straw.

It's Pokemon. Why on earth would you really need 60 fps? It's no fighting game or fps game.

I don't need it to be 60fps, I just need the framerate to be stable. As of now, the constant dropping to low 20s makes it ridiculously choppy and distracting.

It's just utter incompetence at this point.

I didn't encounter any lag or low framerates at all.

I beat the game 11 times through before you say I only played it a little bit.
