    • how often do you use it?
    • what subreddits do you frequent?
    • do you use reddit's new design? why or why not/how do you feel about it?

I use reddit a few times a week myself. I used to dislike the way it felt, back when the only way to look at reddit on mobile was a 3rd party app. But now I really like how it feels! It just works well now.

    I usually go to r/me_irl and r/BlackPeopleTwitter

I don't actually directly go on reddit very often, but I really like YouTube videos where people collect the best reddit posts by subreddit and read them out - I know it sounds stupid to listen to someone else reading reddit but I kinda prefer it since it's "curated" in a sense and only the actual funny ones make it into the video (I like Sorrow TV and rSlash). When I just browse subreddits I'm not nearly as entertained, even if I sort posts by top/hot. I can also split my attention this way, I like "listening" to reddit while I work, haha.

Anyway, some of my favourite subs are the infamous r/niceguys and r/nicegirls, r/boneappletea, r/choosingbeggars, r/quityourbullshit and r/maliciouscompliance.

... I... actually didn't realize one could "browse" Reddit this way o.o

... I had no idea there were reddit youtubers. wow.

I use it quite a bit. I'm not so much a poster as I am a lurker, especially for games that I play. Mainly on r/DBZDokkanBattle, r/Hearthstone, r/leagueoflegends, and a few others for other games I play. I religiously use the new Reddit design on dark mode.

LOL yeah I didn't know either until fairly recently, actually, and now suddenly YouTube will NOT stop recommending all these reddit YouTubers to me. I thought it would be a kind of fringe thing, but some of these channels have well over 1mil subs.

I despise the new reddit UI and I will continue to use the old one for as long as I can.

Yes I frequent reddit daily, most of the time it's multiple times a day as well.

Too many subreddits for me to list as well for ones that I frequent. However looking at my profile my subs are r/tampa, r/Fios, r/cakeday, r/FlashTV, r/RWBY, r/TheTempleOfOchako, r/BokuNoHeroAcademia, r/arrow, and r/rva

personally, I'm used to the new Reddit UI. I found it rather jarring at first, but I don't mind it as much, anymore.

I frequent Reddit every other day or so. A few times a week I think, just to see if there's anything new in the subreddits that I frequent. I don't have a reddit account or anything, so I don't "sub" to subreddits, but the ones that I frequent the most are r/TalesfromRetail, r/Florida, r/smashbros, and r/oneplus.

Why I visit r/pokemonfanfiction of course. Also r/linux, r/debian and other FLOSS-related subreddits, as well as r/3dshacks and r/worldbuilding.

Admittedly r/writingprompts is a guilty pleasure sometimes.

As for the new design: I would use it if it ever finished loading in a browser. I just can't seem to ever get a subreddit index loading and not hoarding the CPU, so I use the old design for the time being.

browse reddit erratically. i use the new ui since it looks nice, so why not? i frequent r/anime for discussions and news etc. if not for that, i'm probably browsing r/all. ooh and r/pokemon too, there's some hilarious memes sometimes.

Sometimes I browse reddit on r/funnys, try to find some videos. But the one thing I hate on reddit is almost video downloaded has no sound.

I mod /r/tales and /r/jrpg, although I'm more of a glorified janitor for the latter since I'm not as invested. But those take up most of my time on reddit. Everything else is just browsing when I'm bored which I try to curb lately because I can spend way too much time doing absolutely nothing on reddit if I'm not careful, lol.

    Beyond those, I enjoy:
    • /r/ATBGE - "Awful Taste But Great Execution"
    • /r/AteTheOnion - highlighting ppl who fall for satirical news like on The Onion
    • /r/DiWHY - terrible DIY projects
    • /r/DontHelpJustFilm - ppl/animals getting themselves into comical situations and all you can think is "the cameraman could have stopped this"
    • /r/ExpectationVSReality - exactly what it says
    • /r/hmmm - things that make you go hmmm
    • /r/Incorgnito - if you cross any dog breed with a corgi it just looks like a corgi in disguise
    • /r/InternetParents - a neat sub where people without a good relationship with their parents can ask any question or for advice they'd usually get from their parents. it's a wholesome community.
    • /r/MildlyStartledCats - exactly what it says on the box
    • /r/nonononoyes - things that almost go very, very badly but work out in the end.
    • /r/NoSleep - scary stories and the whole sub stays in character to assume everything there is real
    • /r/OutOfTheLoop - where you can ask about trending stuff and get an unbiased explanation for what's going on
    • /r/PenmanshipPorn - for beautiful penmanship/calligraphy
    • /r/powerwashingporn - mostly before/after pics of people power washing their driveways/decks. it's addicting.
    • /r/PraiseTheCameraMan - for vids where it's amazing that the cameraman got everything in shot
    • /r/ReverseAnimalRescue - okay you know those vids/gifs of people saving animals? like saving cats from a tall perch, pulling puppies out of a pipe, etc? yeah people reverse those gifs and this is the result and it's hilarious.
    • /r/ShittyGifRecipes - kind of like /r/DiWhy except it's gif recipes
    • /r/ShortScaryStories - exactly what it says. they're all readable in like a minute.
    • /r/specializedtools - again, exactly what it says. showcases tools/machines made for a specific purpose. surprisingly cool.
    • /r/therewasanattempt - ppl attempting to do something and failing
    • /r/unstirredpaint - literally just pics of paint buckets before the colour has been properly stirred but i swear some of em are works of art
    • /r/UpvoteExeggutor - a very, very long Alolan Exeggutor. All submissions are pictures that lengthen the neck with weird additions.
    • /r/WeWantPlates - makes fun of trendy restaurants that seem to use everything BUT tableware to serve food

...I think that's about it, besides my hobby subreddits (media I'm into) and local sbureddits, I think.

This subreddit right here? It's the main reason to use reddit.

I use reddit sometimes, myself. Usually it's when I'm promoting combo videos for whatever fighting game I'm playing, so I use the subreddit for those games. Aside from that and the reddit for other games I play that AREN'T fighting games...

    r/EarthPorn - I shouldn't have to explain this one.
r/InternetIsBeautiful - I like seeing what kind of tools and widgets people come up with. It's a nice reddit to lurk.
r/Showerthoughts - This subreddit is gold. That's all I can say.
r/mildlyinteresting - "Oh wow" the subreddit
    r/motorcycles - Obvious reasons.
r/nottheonion - Those stories that all sound like they came from a Florida Man skit but are true? Eeeeeyup.
r/OldSchoolCool - Exactly what it says on the tin.
r/nosleep - For when the SCP stories aren't scratching that horror itch.

Reddit is where I get my sports discussion and local news fix. I check it daily because of these things.

    /r/nba - NBA discussion
    /r/nfl - NFL discussion
/r/cfb - American College Football discussion
/r/hockey - hockey discussion particularly NHL
/r/baseball - baseball discussion particularly MLB
/r/minnesota - subreddit for Minnesotans and Minnesota news
/r/twincities - subreddit for Minnesota's two biggest cities and their suburbs
/r/Minneapolis - subreddit specifically for Minnesota's biggest city, Minneapolis

And that's actually it for my daily checks these days. I will pop into places like /r/news and /r/worldnews to catch some headlines but not daily. Also periodically check each of /r/minnesotatwins, /r/minnesotavikings, /r/wildhockey, and /r/timberwolves for each of my major American pro sports teams I'm a fan of.

And I still use the old design. Subreddits I frequent have a lot of custom CSS that enhance the browsing experience and make it easier to navigate that gets broken in new Reddit.

Just really started using Reddit last year. I never post on there, but it's worked its way on to my list of one of the few sites that I check daily. The subreddits I frequent the most in no particular order are: r/ColorBlind, r/hockeyjerseys, r/hockey, r/devils (New Jersey Devils), r/KansasCityChiefs, r/squaredcircle (professional wrestling), r/vexillology (flags), r/pokemon, r/AnimalCrossing, r/vancouver, and r/TalesFromRetail (which Angie got me hooked on a while back). I think I'm subscribed to about 50 or so subreddits, but I always forget to log in, so there's probably a bunch more that I'm forgetting, too.

hello my new favourite subreddit is r/Let'sNotMeet

Very different from what I usually like, no humour but it's like IRL creepypasta, where people post scary encounters they've had with stalkers, weird dates and in at least one pretty well-known story on the sub, someone's story of having encountered a serial killer. Basically, stories about people you never want to meet again.
