The bright sunlight gently caressed the duo's bodies. An orchestra of growling stomaches surrounding them more and more with every step they took. Grace couldn't stop talking. First about her family, then her perfect grades, heck, she had told her life to this stranger already and they hadn't even walked for five minutes!
This girl... Dom had payed attention for the first minute of her non-stop rambling but, alas even the nicest men in the world would have given up on this girl. He would utter the ocassional "Mhm" or "Sounds nice" and nod his head in agreement as he was dying on the inside.
Grace could only think of Dom as a man of few words. As he would rarely speak up. Which was good, because she loves to talk about herself. And it was also bad, cause he now knew that she's not a natural blond and gthe only thing
she knew about him is that he was a robot. Chances are this fact wasn't even true.
"But that's enough silly talk about me!" The eager female decides to end as she stare at Dom. Wide smile across her face, as she decides to proceed: "Let's talk about you!"
"Umm... I'm good, sorry." Domnic gave a warm smile. "My past is something that i'd rather not talk about." He had already taken the time to open up to Evan and he had broke down then. Dom didn't want to start crying in front of a girl... especially not this chatter box.
"Well you sir are rude!" She adds in a sudden shift of mood. Hand placed on her waist as she extends her legs, as if to aid to the point she wanted to proove, "I tell you everything about me and then you just say 'uh, me no want to speak'!" She ends in a poor attempt to immitate a deep voice that is nonexistant within her. As soon as she's done, she turns around emiting a "Hmp" like sound from her lips. Eyes closed, mad as can be. And also happy. But mostly mad.
Rude? Dom's face flashed with anger for a moment before he started laughing. "Was that supposed to be my voice?" He started to laugh. "I'm sorry, Grace. My past just brings up bad memories... memories that I don't want to think about right now." Dom's face gave a disheartened look. "Are you okay with that?"
Silence. She's not willing to reply. Regret. Maybe he just doesn;t want to talk as much as she does? Anger. Blasphemy, she deserves to know details as personal as those she just told him! And... colors. Lots of pretty, shiny olorful waves hoverign everywhere. In front of her the grass was burning an intense yellow. The buildings left behind them are all emiting a strong rainbow of colors. The sky is shining a light green, and all around her is a pink aura that is thick enough to envelope her and blcom her sight. As if this wan't enough, when she turns around, an expression of panic in her face, all she notices are more colors.
Dominic's body looses a defined shape as all she an see are pieces of red, blue, green, every color that one can imagine surrounding him. Surrounding her everything, barely allowing her to know where is up and where is down.
Silence. She stares at Dom, more scared than before. Hands waving around her as she tries to sort out her surroundings between the myriad of colors she's seeing.
What the hell? Dom watched as Grace flailed her arms while staring at him. "Hey! You alright there?!" He had expected his time with this girl to be strange... but this was turning out to be something else.
"I... Y-Yes! Just..." She stutters and laughs nervously as a slight drip of sweat surfs down her face, "Just, tell me where you are!" Dominic replies with a nervous laugh of his own. "Right ahead of you."
With her sight growing blurrier and messier, all she can see are
Blurred Lines running across her sight. Not precisely straight but rather wavy, but still. That was worth the reference, "A-Are you sure?" "Yeah, straight ahead... Are
you sure that your okay?"
"Um, yeah... I just..." She pauses as her hands finally feel Dom's chest.
Mmm, delicious, and back to reality, she replies to the blurry shapes in front of her, "I just can't really see you right now..."
A disability maybe? He didn't really want to pry. "What do you mean by can't see me?"
"What I mean is that all I can see is a blur of colors where you're standing. And red grass, but mostly blurs of colors where you are..." She sighs, tapping her eyes gently with her hand, "I hate when this happens..."
Dom gives Grace a confused look before replying. "Blurs of colors? A medical condition?"
"Well, I believe the appropiate term would be 'Synesthesia', it's basically seeing colors where they shouldn't be, or seeing music notes or whatever, it's different from person to person. Mine allows me to see emotions in the form of blurs and waves... or something. Today's been a very colourful day..." She ends with another sigh, "It fades after a while." Another sigh. At least she hasn't tripped again... Not yet, at least,
"Synesthesia, huh? Never heard of that before..." Dom reached out and touched Grace so, she could have a reference to where he was. "This school is really weird..."
"It is!" She laughs, with a soft giggle that isn't forced at all. She stares at the soft waves of a light blue that place themselves on her shoulder while feeling pressure against it.
Must be his arm, "But enough silly chipering. We should get going!" "You can't see though can you?", "Uh... Err... Maybe? It's not like I'm blind, really. I just... can't see anything other than colors right now..." "I see... Okay where is our next stop then?", "I dunno... Where's the food?"

"And then I said 'save those sexist teenager comments for your grandma, your honor!'" A laughing Grace is seen barrating as she is ingesting a slice of Pizza. Fingers left with a slight film of oil with every bite she takes. It's her sixth slice in the last 15 minutes, and she's still far from being full, but certainly close to choking as she's speaking with her mouth full. Disgusting, indeed. Not that she would mind you telling her that, anyways.
Oh god... Dom had expected the lunch period to be filled with endless chatter from the girl but, this was far too much. And her table manners... She was spitting food all over him and she had already ate as many slices of pizza as Dom had. No man kept up with the pace that he ate and this girl was. Dominic gave a small shudder as some more tiny chunks of pizza flew into his face.
The blurs of colors next to Grace now shifted to be a very, very dark green. In such a strong shade it is an indicator of revolting in a person... "Um..." Grace says as she, for once, swallows her food before talking, "Am I making you feel disgusted by my behavior?" She ends as she puts the remainder of her nearly-finished slice in a trash can -conviently close of them as any good plot device should be-, feeling the layers of oil in the tip of her fingers with one another...
Maybe I am disgusting....
"Disgusted? Of course not!" Dominic gave a warm smile.
How the hell can she tell how i feel? "Why would you think I was disguted? That story was pretty interesting... finish it up for me please?" He gave an inward sigh.
Maybe I should be a bit nicer to this girl... Even if she is kinda strange.
"Dude. Waves based on emotions, remember? Don't be lying to me. You're a big fat green circle right now. Well, more like an oval, but still... Green is never good."
Waves based on emotions....? Oh right. Happy thoughts Happy thoughts Happy thoughts. Dom grinned and nervously looked at the girl next to him. "Why can't green be good? I like the color green...."
A slight layer of Yellow encompassed the blurry green figure.
Is he faking his emotions? Cause he's doing a terrible job at it, "You look a deep green, I like it better when it's a clearer shade. That's just me." She sighs at how this male keeps insisting in becoming an oval of fake happiness.
One does not simply combine green with yellow... It looks awful.
A deep green, huh? Ughh... I don't like this condition she has. He gave a small smile. "Sorry bout that... just never seen anyone that could eat pizza at the same pace with me."
"No one has, haha!" She says as she smiles, and notices the prescence of clear water in front of her. No green around her, no blurred lines, no messy waves hovering around, "Oh," she moves from her place and walks constantly closer to the pool, "I hadn't noticed the pool was in front of us until now," the colors had faded and the crystal clear body of water in front of her was attracting her like an insect to a bright light. So pretty...
"You didn't notice that? Is your condition really that bad?" He watched her approach the pool.
Me and Evan were here eariler weren't we... and then we went and saw the... Dom shudders as he thinks of those two girls under the tree.
"So pretty, such a sparkly, beatiful..." Her compliments towards the pool are interrupted by a suuden shift in her pose. A gliding feet is all she sees as she feels her being no longer feeling the paved area around the pool. For a second, she stares at the blue sky, and the next, water is filling her nose and blocking her sight. The so pretty and sparkly and beautiful water was embraced her body after she slid with a random puddle by the pool.
She can't swim.
She doesn't know how.
