Spinoff/Mobile GO Chat

I skipped the event entirely. There was nothing for me to look at, apart from winning the showcases to get some handy goods. Good that I didn't wasted time there.

I already have a Braviary who is sitting exactly at 2500CP, so I will no way replace him. Event was lackluster, with nothing to do at. Lucky that it didn't lasted long. I will waiting in the hope to see Rufflet Community Day, just like Sandshrew got, so that I can get Esper Wings Braviary(H) and can use ETM on my first ever Braviary.

I'm finally getting back into Pokémon Go, after over 2 years of not playing (I stopped around January 2022). I have arguably the funniest reason for coming back: my final project for my typography class was making a magazine layout on a subject of interest, and naturally I did a Pokémon themed one. We had to create advertisements for the magazine, and I made a Pokémon Go ad. My idea was a picture of someone's Pokémon collection and "When was the last time you checked your collection? Your Pokémon miss you!" but all the pictures I found of collections on Google were too blurry or had text over it. So as a last resort, I had to re-download the game so I could get a screenshot of my own collection. It's been almost two months since then, and I've been playing daily since then.

A lot has changed since I last played. For one, the whole Route function thing. My former apartment complex had a Route on the path that circled around the lake, so I got to do that a few times before I moved out. (I wish I started playing sooner, since some of my missions involve following Routes, and there aren't any near my house at the moment, so those missions will be chilling there for a while lol) There's also the Campfire thing, which I feel should've been a feature already. Still, better late than never I guess. Granted I don't go to raid meetups or anything like that, but it's cool to see gyms and raids and all that stuff on a large map.

You can make routes on your own if you are at Lv. 40. I made 3 routes on my own as soon as I reached that level and all of them were made in such a way that I cross them everytime whenever I go out for cycling!

Three routes are all that we need, because we can get at max 3 Zygarde cells/day.

Now we all are looking forward to Go Fest, when we can get Necrozma-DW/DM.

And there are bunch of features which are added into the game as well.

By the way @Sheep , which Necrozma form are you preferring first ?

I want to have Necrozma-DW first, as I am seeing some handy usage of it. Both are very good, so it's 50-50 call for either of them !!

And since we will be needing 1000 solar/lunar energy, hence do you have any idea considering your experience, about how much energy we will be getting per raid ?

I like the Solgaleo version better since Sun is my preferred game! They are both cool-looking though. :'D

Just got back from day 1 as a ticket holder. 29 shinies, pretty awesome! No idea how much energy we'll get per raid though, since that's tomorrow. But I did claim the few free energy they gave us via gift code.

But I did claim the few free energy they gave us via gift code.
I also claimed them, and the fact worth noting is that it is 1/5th of required amount.

So can we assume that we can get anything around 150, considering that codes from Niantic usually reward a fraction of total obtainable ?

ticket holder.

I didn't bought ticket this year because I was expecting bad weather this month. And it turned out true, as it rained heavily here, hence didn't went out of the home.

Let's see how tomorrow will turn out !

Looks like we get around 90-140 or so from the raids? And you need 1000 to transform. AKA people will need to raid a lot to get them but at least you only need to transform once and can keep it after that, I guess lol.

Yes. I did three of them about an hour ago. And it seems like that the energy reward are not tied with time to win. Quite intriguing considering this behavior. Plus, I also got 10 Cosmog candies as one of the rewards after winning the raid. DW raids are very easy to win, but DM are slightly harder, as it takes more time.

If we take the average amount to be 110, then I think we need to do 800/110 = 7 or 8 raids for one form. Quite tedious it feels, and today there is 90% chances of rain. I hope that evening remains safe from precipitation!

We did a lot of raids and I managed to fuse both. Luckily I knew to wait until I hit the special research quest requirement that required fusion lol. But out of around 15-20? Necrozma raids I didn't get any shiny. :s Overall a great experience though, 29 shinies on both days!

It rained very heavily yesterday, hence only 7 raids, and that too via Remote passes. Which consumed more than 1000 coins which I had accumulated over the time....

Though one was shiny out of those seven. My presumption was correct regarding the weather, because of which I hadn't bought Go Fest ticket.

Am I lucky or is it just a coincidence? So, my office has two PokeStops and usually I'd add a lure on one of them. For the past 4-5 weeks, I've encountered a shiny! So far I've caught a shiny Clamperl, Bellsprout, Eevee, Skarmory, and Lechonk. I'm a collector so I ended up transferring them to my Pokemon Home.

Is there some sort of event happening that I'm not aware of? Or am I just really lucky? Sadly I don't go back to my office until next week though.

Wow, that's some awesome luck! No event was happening, you just had a lucky streak. Congrats ~ I still need shiny Clamperl, one of these days I'll fill the set lol

IT HAPPENED AGAIN. I got a shiny Galarian Meowth last night. Make that week 6.

Anyone participating the next Community Day for Tynamo tomorrow? I need an Eelektross.

So I have a field research that I just cannot for the life of me get it checked off. How are you supposed to get FIVE great throws in a row? I have tried it and my streak is broken after two tries :(

Congrats!! Still need one of those.. ;_;

How did we do with Tynamo day? I was very busy and only got 3. Guess I'll need to look for more in December.
I caught 10...but it still wasn't enough for me to evolve my Eelektrik to a Eelektross, sadly. :(
Pokemon go has passed me by, should I start playing it now?
It's never too late!!!!!

20 shiny Popplio for community day (b' ')b

@Delta Crowned Sword How'd you go?

I got 5, and I am quite happy with whatever I got.

Because I no longer live at my home place, hence any positive is like gold, considering how busy I had got since 3 weeks.

Though my best was Metagross CD, where I got 21-22 shiny in 65-70 catches.
