Spinoff/Mobile GO Chat

The level 43 requiredment in 200 super effective charged attacks is the death of me. As someone only fighting the grunts, it is literally a guessing game in which if the mons I brought can hit any of their specific mons super effectively, or even do it before the opponent gets knocked out by the fast move. And some like the Ground specialists are especially fucking impossible because there are that many type combinations with Ground in it. There are a gazillion times where I fought the grunts and never progressed the requirement because of that.

I normally dislike fighting gyms, but I might have to do that now just so that I can finally be clear of that monstrously irritating requirement.

Edit: Okay I looked it up, it turns out training with team leaders do count towards this goal. Beforehand I assumed it didn't, and I really wished I knew that before.

I am stuck into catching 200 Pokemon in a day, which seems ridiculously tough for me. I am not that much interested into catching any Pokemon that spawns on the map, and neither I am having enough time to grind like this.

Instead, if Niantic would have put up winning 100 battles in Go Battle League, then it would have been just a week task......
 
I'm lucky I have my GO Plus+ which catches a lot for me lol. TT; But even then, it'd take a fair amount of time, especially if you're using lower-tier catching items and not Ultras.

Got a shiny hat Wurmple today! Super cute. I want the bow tie Jigglypuff sooo bad though.
 
We managed to get a couple sets from our short walk. Weather certainly was on the miserable side, but not as bad as early in the morning I suppose.
 
Hundo Mime. Jr from an egg! Pretty neat, definitely not gonna evolve it cause it's so much better as a baby.

I am relaxing rn because I already have all 4 shiny Deoxys too from before remote raids were nerfed, feel bad for anyone who wants the set now with the remote limit. :'D;
 
I haven't playing Go that much recently, but I hopped on 15 minutes before the Vanillite community day ended and managed to find 2 shinies. I was walking circles around the apartment complex parking lot with an incense active to spawn as many as possible before it ended lol

lol, I did things like this too sometimes! 2 is good, hope you can find that third one for the full set sometime ❤️

We actually managed to do one yesterday because we could invite others to it! Such a good change. Couldn't get any more users to join after for more, but still thankful for the one lol.

And congrats Rad on the shiny!! This recent event has been so good for that. I am sitting on shiny Litleo, three male Combee (ugh), two Pawniard, and a Piplup. :love:
 
Tried remote Raiding Gmax Machamp, and it was a complete disaster.

We were around 30 players and still barely dropped 1/3 of its HP. Good thing I at least didn't waste coins on a Max Mushroom that wouldn't have made any difference. These Raids are doable if you're lucky and join a lobby with a high number of players who have optimal teams and strats, otherwise it's pure gambling, which wouldn't be an issue while attempting the GMax raid locally (because you don't lose Particles if you fail), but you do lose the remote raid pass.

So yeah, definitely wouldn't recommend it unless you know you're in a lobby with plenty of Pros. Otherwise it might be more fun to just trash your remote pass.

I'll have to try Legendary Max Raid once one worth doing comes up, those are made for 4 players so it should be a lot more viable.
