Goodbye 2013

    So the year is drawing to a close, and I have to ask you guys something. How was the year 2013 for you personally as well in a general sense?
     
    2013... was a year with lots of downs and a few ups.

    Failed college so much that i had to quit, all my applications for a job got rejected cause i didnt had enough experience and what else not. 2013 was a crap year for me which id love to forget ASAP.
     
    I think 2013 is quite a long journey for me. I remember when I get the chance to get the taste of leadership thanks to being part of the staff on someplace else, but in the middle of that, I got some heartbreak due to misunderstanding, but after that, I'm starting to try to become better and better, and I think 2013 is one of the nice year, if not the best, because I got a bit more of ups than downs.
     
    2013 was....well, I wouldn't say "it was awesome". But it wasn't as bad as 2012 where so much bs has happened. The only things that brought me down was losing a few friends along the way because of my constant emotional turmoil due to my anxiety disorder (in which I am being treated at this time thankfully). My best friend and I didn't talk for half of the year but we're still in the process of catching up. However, both semesters (last Spring and this one) have been very good and I've maintained a good GPA, and I'm almost there to finish. So, there were some good things, and some bad things. But I'm not saying the year was down to crap.
     
    There a lot of things about 2013 that I want to forget. I want to have a clean slate. There's a lot that happened in my life. It'd be nice to just... have a fresh start once the new year finally begins. I won't go into detail of the things that happened though. It's really confusing ****.
     
    I was part of the Class of 2013, so graduating high school and moving on to college all in one year had been pretty huge. Lots of fond memories from this year, but a lot of depressing stuff too, like missed opportunities and sudden changes. I think this will have been one of the more significant years of my life though.
     
    2013 has been a very good year for me both online and offline.. I got a girlfriend, I graduated, I got my driver's license, and I had made so many friends in my senior year. I also managed to become quite active here on PC to the point where I grew to be a moderator and made so many friends here. 2013 is a year I will never forget in my life and I hope that someday in the future I will look back to it as a good year for me.
     
    Well I spent the first few months of the year on active duty in Guatemala, that was kind of fun. Couldn't find a job for months after I got back. That kind of sucked. But the Blues are playing really well so far this season so I can't complain. It's been a decent year.
     
    2013 wasn't very special to me, to be honest—it was almost exactly like 2011 and 12. 2014, though… that year is going to be much, much different. I would no longer be in college then, and would be out seeking a job. I mean, already have a job, but I'm not really satisfied with it; I need a better one. One that's well-paid and not very stressful. d:
     
    2013 was good to me during the early stage of the year.

    I managed to finish the rest of my courses in school and finally got into Car Mechanics, got myself a job and even managed to buy a crap ton of stuffs for me (Something I usually don't do). But during the summer of 2013. It was the most horrible time for me.

    2013 was also a nice time for me internet wise. I got really active on PC, made a Trading shop on PC that is pretty quite successful :). Also, found some very nice friends here on PC ♥
     
    2013 was a fairly easy year for me, i moved from Illinois to Virginia, then from Virginia to San Diego so that was fun lol, i got to see my family, and discovered PC so it's been a pretty good year!
     
    Well I finally graduated after my second senior year. That was weird. I went out of my comfort zone and went Zip-Lining. Rode a roller coaster for a first time, and a few other big rides. I finally went to Drivers Ed, passed my written. Made some great memories with friends. Plus the big Doctor Who 50th this year. Won two contest (Never won anything from contest). I'd say it was a pretty good year. Some stuff I would like to forget, but thats normal right?
     
    Too early to make a thread, isn't it?

    Anyways, '13 has mostly been positive for me, experiencing my first full year of college and I've been less dependent on my family, using my own money and driving on my own. Much better than majority of '12 for me. PC didn't affect me too much, it's still something I do on my spare time.
     
    2013 definitely had both it's highs and it's lows for me. It was a fun year for me that is for sure! I've accomplished a lot in real life, X&Y were a blast, getting modded was fun, and just overall a great year. It had some sad times though as well. My grandpa passed this year which was definitely the worst part of 2013 :[

    Here is to hoping 2014 will be amazing :D
     
    2013 was eh, okay but My Grandmother passed away this year :( I was really close to her :(
     
    Well, 2013 has been no different to 2010, 2011 and 2012.... all been bad. I'd love to say that I'm hopeful for 2014, but I'm not. over the last 4 years I've made no steps forward.
     
    I think 2013 is one of my best years ever. I got accepted into this wonderful new school, met tons of awesome people, and last January, I even got Supporter'd! I'm really hoping that 2014 is going to be as nice as this year~
     
    It has had it's ups and downs.

    As far as life goes, I haven't made any real progress I guess. I became very close with some truly special people in real life. That's up.

    Dated one, definitely an up. Also got forced to break up because of the interference of others... neither of us are exactly thrilled about that. Definitely a down.

    Other than that and a few other experiences that stand out somewhat I guess it has been a pretty stagnant year for me as far as real life.

    On PC. I'd like to think PC has been pretty good for me this year!
    I have become more active in the community, met some amazing people who have impacted my life as if I actually know them in some ways. I've done a lot of RPing (got me some awards xD), discovered Forum Games and become more active in the CC&P and D&D forums. Yup, definitely a good year for PC.

    I hope that 2014 is as good for me in real life as PC has been for me in 2013 and that PC continues to be amazing, but I have learned not to get my hopes too high. xD
