The seal disappeared after Gunner accepted her fate. I wasn't surprised that acceptance accompanied death, but I just realized that she had that as part of her action.
And Gunner may have been onto something when she had that idea with players and statues. So if we place Lycan in front of the wolf statue, a snake in front of the dragon, and an eagle player in front of the eagle . . . I'm not sure who to put with the bear, though.
And yes, jd. Golgari has also stated that he's not a snake. So I'm not sure about that.

As the Wolf Familiar's body begins to disperse back into the energy it was created from, the symbol for Acceptance glows and disappears from the door as well. The statues have reset to their default positions.
