Welcome one and all to the weekly Gym Leader World Tournament! These are weekly polls that pits Gym Leaders one and against each other to see will come out on top! So, in these polls, feel free to tell us about your favourite gym leader in each region that's represented! Now, if you'd like to see what this is all about, feel free to read the rules below:

- Every week, there will be a poll attached, with different Gym Leaders of each region. Each thread will have different Gym Leaders from different regions companies like Kanto, Unova, Hoenn, and so on.
- You are not restricted to one vote - you can vote as many Gym Leader favourites as you like!
- In the event of a tie at the end of the week, I, Dragon will have the tie-breaking vote, just to have a clear winner!
- Frequent voters will receive an emblem featuring the winning video game at the end!
- Feel free to explain who you voted for, and why on this thread!
- Any questions? Feel free to ask me in VMs or PMs!

So, as said, this week will focus on the Hoenn Gym Leaders, so choose your favourite gym leaders from Hoenn listed, and the winner will be posted on Sunday, April 12th! Just a note, you don't have to base your answer from the games. You can do so through the anime and manga as well!

he was a gentlemen. a master of water types. so elegant. da stache.

Flannery has one of the best gym leader designs ever. It's simple yet iconic with her baggy jeans, midriff t-shirt, and wild red spiky hair.

Winona has a bit more complex of a design, but I still love it. She's like an ethereal biker chick. Come on, you can't top that!

I'm also fond of Juan and Wallace.

I've never found myself truly attached to any of the Gym Leaders of Hoenn, so I found it difficult to vote for just one. After much deliberation and trying to limit myself to 3, my votes went to Wattson, Flannery, and Norman.

When it comes to the Hoenn gym leaders, these are my favorites:

Wattson
Norman
Winona
Tate and Lisa
Wallace

My favorite would have to be Brawly, as his character just really stood out and had a rad vibe to him, even though i've heard horrors of Nuzlockers having faced him in Emerald. And Wattson despite the same thing.

I voted for Flannery and Tate and Liza.
Flannery because of her dialogue, her being a beginning Gym Leader and extremely nervous.
Tate and Liza, because they're the only double battle Gym Leaders so far and the connection between twin telepathy and the psychic type is very interesting.

Norman always was my favorite. Partly the fresh thing with him being the protagonist's dad - THE HERO HAS A DAD! - and partly because he's a cool cutie with Zangooses abound in his gym. Can't have too much Zangoose.

I also voted for Winona though. She's cute and contrary to Falkner actually makes the bird gym an interesting and sort of tough challenge. Always hated battling that Altaria haha.

Voted for both Flannery and Winona.

Flannery is hot just cool, I love her dialogue in ORAS, she's fiery and I just love how she looks.
Winona is cute, she has a great team of Pokémon and her Gym design is awesome in ORAS.

I like Norman but I have to give it up for Winona. Her serene personality along with her hardwork makes me fist pump. GO GO WINONA!

I'm voting for Flannery and Watson. I always liked Watson, because of his design, and Manectric was a cool ace. Flannery had a very clear personality which made her very memorable. I didn't care too much for the other gymleaders, although the whole Norman dad thing was fun. I didn't like Norman enough though.
