    Have you ever been rejected In other words, have you asked someone out on a date or asked he/she to be your girlfriend/boyfriend, but they said no?

    I once asked this gay guy out once, but he only dates fems... lol. ;;
     
    yes I have been rejected, quite a few times actually ^^; I guess I'm not that appealing to most of the girls I've asked out before
     
    Well I don't ask guys out so I haven't.
     
    Haha, I've only asked girls out on two occasions, both of which (luckily for me) said sure. It was an even split on who broke up with who after those though >_>

    When I was younger, I got asked out often but I was usually just like "O_O where did that come from!?" and said no. :P

    Nowadays, it's tough asking people out since I'm never sure who's with someone and who isn't.
     
    does getting dumped by the girl count? If so then yeah, if not then still yeah.
     
    Yes, I have been rejected, a lot, especially by girls.
    However, I have been lucky enough to have a girlfriend, now actually.

    I wasn't that forward with anyone whom I've catered a fancy for in the past. So I've never actually been rejected, though I've rejected quite a number of people. >_o;
     
    Not much, but I guess I don't really count. I've only asked two girls out. The first one said no, but the second one said yes. I've been dating her now for the past 5 years (7th grade-12th grade), but before we started dating we'd been friends since the 2nd grade.
     
    I don't generally ask people "out", but when I have they've said yes. The reason I hardly ever do is because most of the girls I know are either hideous, taken, or my best friend, and the guys I know are either hideous, taken, like girls, or my best friend. Gutted.
     
    I've been rejected a number of times.

    But I cant hold in my feelings for someone very long. So I tend to just try to get it off my chest and move on if I'm rejected.

    Though I've always thought that being rejected isnt a bad thing. Sure, it hurts at first but it gets better, and I'd honestly rather have someone reject me rather than taking me and leading me on just because they cant bear to hurt my feelings. I'm very quick to forgive and I never hold a grudge against someone for rejecting me when I initially confess my feelings for them. (of course, I have held grudges against people who were very hurtful and insensitive in their expression of rejection.)

    I'm also quick to move on, and quick to get back on my feet.
     
    I have rejected people and I've also been rejected.

    The lone case of being rejected was my own fault because I told people that I had liked this...failure. To make it short, said failure knew about it and I heard about it through someone else. I was full of rage, but I eventually got over it.

    Because of this, I'm more careful about spilling stuff in real life.

    However the fact that I'm posting this on the internet and still call him a failure does indicate otherwise. :/
     
    of course not! I wouldn't go for something if I knew I was setting myself up for failure.
     
    The only people who haven't been rejected are those who haven't asked anybody to go out with them or those who look like Zac Efron or Angelina Jolie. Anybody else will get rejected in their lifetime.

    So yes, I've been rejected.

    No I haven't ever been rejected, but I've gotten worse: the girl told me she'd think about it. The suspense is worse than being rejected. She finally said yes, though. XD;

    As for being dumped, I've been dumped hard. It really sucks.
