Height preferences in dating

    I remember being rejected by a couple of girls in the past because of my short stature (5'4"). They wanted a guy who was like 6 feet tall; which is one of the reasons why I kinda gave up dating because I feel that's the preference that most girls have in height, even the short girls want tall dudes lol.

    Although there's no reason for me to get upset over it because I also have my preferences. I prefer shorter girls due to my height. Someone who is 5 feet tall to 5'3". I had 1 girlfriend who was 5'6" and it felt really uncomfortable and awkward for me. I always wanted to sit down with her so I felt like I was closer to her height because whenever we had to stand up, the height was noticeable and I felt small. I was never confident with my height so I'd probably never like to date a taller girl.
     
    So. hmm.

    My height: 6' 0" or 182cm
    Ideal range: 5' 9" - 6' 6" or 175cm - 200cm
    Mean of my relationships: 6' 2.5"

    But generally, as far as appearance goes, I am more of a "face person."
     
    I prefer girls who are about my height or a bit lower, and I am 178 cm (5'10'').
     
    If I were to go out with a girl I'd be okay with her being anywhere from maybe 5'1 to 5'11? If I were to go out with a guy, maybe 5'6-6'4? idk, I don't really care that much unless it's an absurd difference really.
     
    I'd prefer the girl to be shorter than I am (5'7 so it's not like totally absurd nor is it a given that they will be). I used to be really not flexible when it came to this but as long as they're not 5'10 or above I'm sure I'd find a way to make do.
     
    I'm 5'4, and I think my boyfriend is much taller. XD I don't really care though because what matters is how much I love him. Height doesn't really mean anything to him or me. Besides, it's cute when you can stand on your tiptoes to kiss the one you love. :P
     
    This is apparently a big deal for a lot of people but I've never really cared.
     
    I def prefer a guy who is taller than me, but I wouldn't reject someone just because they're shorter or my height. If I like someone I like someone... I'll look past a lot.

    Fortunately all the people I've been with in my life have been taller so far.
     
    I don't have an issue with height, really... I'm 5' 9" and never been on a date with anyone whatsoever.
     
    No preference, really, as long as my neck doesn't have to kill itself to look at them in the eye. I've dated someone that was shorter than me, and someone who was my height and loved wearing heels. I felt fine both ways.
     
    Height has never really been a big deal to me. I don't think I'd be comfortable with someone significantly taller than me though.
     
    No preference. Taller guys are okay, but really...if a guy I want to date is shorter than me I'd still go for it.

    You're one of the only You're the only person I know, who knows the 'mean' of the height of his relationships haha. I'm not sure if I should get to work on making you a badge or what.

    I'm about 6'0" so, as long as they aren't taller than me, we got noooo problem.
     
    Well not that I really care but... both times I fell for someone, I ended up falling for people who are just shorter than me. Like a good 15 cm shorter than me. I'm 1.79m so yeah.

    add me to the list, I know the mean height of my relationship history as well. it's 5'6.
