Yes. If someone obtains the Sorting Hat, it could yield the Sword of Gryffindor (but only to a true Gryffindor), which killed the basilisk in the books, and was then infused with the venom/blood of the basilisk. Fiendfyre is just a powerful spell, but chaotic. It's likely that fiendfyre is this game's "bomb" equivalent, killing the user and at least one victim/the diary as well. Basilisk fangs could be found on the bones/corpse of the basilisk down in the Chamber of Secrets, or if we have to slay it first.

The Sword of Gryffindor could also be in Dumbledore's office or in Dumbledore's possession - were he in the game.

But it's sad, nothing is able to penetrate it. Finally I used the word penetrate. ;)

Seems like the diary's gonna stay for awhile until the 'rightful owner', who has been mentioned in the previous pages, holds it. :/
 
The rightful owner could only be Voldemort (I feel like we shouldn't be allowed to say his name btw. In-universe, he's still He Who Must Not Be Named.) or Ginny Weasley dependent on what the diary's goals are.

Well. This was just another case of Jason-not-reading-the-rules-carefully-idus, so I didn't know you could pass the demon book on. I am in your debt gimmepie. Well, at least until I'm murdered by a Death Eater. But that won't happen. Right? Right?!

So, do you think that we'd know when this "rightful owner" obtains this Horcrux, and who it is? If not, then we need to be careful. They might have it already...

Also, Wicked3DS wants this thing pretty badly. He also claims that he has the Sword of Godric Gryffindor. Emphasis on claim. Why would he have it? Where did he get it? What is American Cheese really made of? SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS!
 
I'm not aware of Wicked's alignment nor he's aware of mine, but there's one thing I'm sure of: he had that diary yesterday and nothing bad happened to us; in fact he was weakened by the diary hence Weakened3DS. Isn't it a bit too early to assume that he is sided with the baddies?
