To be fair, we all also speculated to a fair extent about the existence of Snape in the game and his possible status as a double agent, making it incredibly easy for a mafia member to claim as it and find at least a few people that would believe such a claim.
Not saying he's lying, but he also very well could be.
Also, I think gimmepie is pretty much clear at this point. He could have been lying about the Imperio curse, but he wouldn't really be able to make up Mana's post about the Fiendfyre. Along with that, I think it's possible that the mafia—hopefully realizing that manipulating a vote in the early phases isn't going to help a lynch—cursed pie twice with Kiyo as a target so that they could try and hit him with a Fiendfyre, that would at least be almost guaranteed to be activated, even if it didn't end up succeeding. Because of that, I'm willing to bet on Kiyobae's innocence for the time being as well.
I'm actually a Ravenclaw. I used Legilimency on Alex and one other person that isn't in this conversation (but I can assure you, they're with Hogwarts). The only reason that I revealed it so early in the phase was because of what Nimsy said.
And catman, please state the inno hit you got with your investigation. Now that you've claimed as a Ravenclaw, there's no reason to hold any relevant information back, and eliminating an inno from a list of possible lynchees is still fairly useful in its own right. Of course, that could open up a confirmed inno to an attack from the Death Eaters, but we should still have plenty of Hufflepuffs to use Apaneo right now anyways.
Also, @gimmepie - as Nimsy said, she guessed—she doesn't actually know that that's the spread, lol. I assume she just took the number of players in the game and divided it in a way that the Hogwarts Houses would be even, and the Death Eaters would be a relatively fair size as well.
and @Sun - I'm not going to go against your claim to knowing who Snape is—you could be him yourself, or somehow have gotten the information otherwise, though I doubt the latter since all regular students have the same sets of spells. What I do question is why Snape wouldn't have a special ability. All House Heads do, and Death Eaters have their own dark spells. It doesn't seem reasonable that Snape wouldn't have other spells.
Though I do wonder why all Slytherins can use Sectumsempra. I would have thought that would be a Snape only spell, since he created it and, to my knowledge, Harry is the only other person that has used it.
