Cue Dragon Ball Z reference for kicks and giggles

So, jokes aside... how many songs are do you have? How much can your device hold for songs? Are you proud to have as many songs as you do? Or do you wish you had more? Just curious is all. :3

I have about 1022 songs right now. My nano is a 16 GB, so it can hold about 3500 altogether.

Not sure how many songs my phone can currently hold, but I'll assume it is around the 3,000 mark since it is 16GB. I have about 400 songs currently on my phone, but I have way more that I've yet to transfer on my Spotify account.

I took almost all of the music off my phone once I got spotify premium, but I still have some stuff that spotify doesn't have -- 650 songs worth, to be precise.

on my winamp which I used for awhile to download every album I'd listen to (pre-spotify) I have 8,125 songs.

HOWEVER, on my iTunes, which is pretty much everything I've ever owned, I have 18,227 songs. whatta total.

according to google play my phone has 2,902 songs on it, roughly 19 gigs of music.

my itunes has a lot more because that's what I use to organize like all of my media, but idk how to get the exact figures out of it

I'm forever trying to cut back on my music - I have a habit of getting entire albums just for one or two tracks and taking forever to get rid of the excess baggage. My iTunes right now has 2776 songs in it, which is a record low for me as I had a proper cleanup earlier this year.

But this excludes the 804 songs sitting on my desktop in a nice little folder that I have yet to add and sort out...and the numerous albums I plan on getting in the near future, because I don't have anywhere near enough video game soundtrack right now. My music has been a work-in-progress ever since I got iTunes; it's never quite how I want it; I always want to add more but at the same time I really have far too much I don't listen to and/or don't even like cluttering up my laptop...

playlists > click view > show status bar
    voila

apparently I have 8754 songs which surprises me as I thought I was in the 10k range by now
though I haven't added new music in forever since I've preferred to watch movies & lately and only listen to music when I'm doing physical work

    get on my level

seriously though it's far too much I could do with deleting about half of it

Only like 220 on my phone. I do regular clean-ups of songs I don't listen to anymore.

I used to have a crazy amount back in the old Napster era...I remember blowing half a wage packet on a hard drive just for music and a DVD writer to burn them on to disk when I ran out of space...come full circle now and only have rare bootlegs and hard to find albums which I can't get on Music or Spotfiy. Current account is 374 on Mobile. Might dust off the old DVD backups and see what Gems I have not listened too in a while!

Google play music gives me pretty much an unlimited supply of music. I'm currently under 5,000 songs in my library, and it's enough to fill up the 64GB memory card in my phone.

    I recently gave in and switched back to iTunes from Winamp just so I'd have easier access to the number of songs in my library and smart playlists. So yay, a thread where I actually have a use for the number. xD;

Apparently I've got 15411 items. I only keep a handful of songs/albums on my phone (I mostly listen to podcasts while I'm out and about now anyway, so I have little use for music on it). I did get a hand-me-down iPod Touch recently though and I put on my "essential" songs so I could just take that while I study/read or something instead of dealing with extra distractions from a computer and I ended up with 1750 songs, which only takes up 10 of the 32GB so that's not too bad, especially since I'm not bothering with apps or anything else that might take up space.

For a while, I switched away from downloaded music and used Spotify but the incessant ads got really annoying and what they offered in Canada wasn't worth $10/month. I like keeping track of my music on Last.fm so I don't use Youtube or any other streaming services. So I'll stick with my downloaded/bought stuff.

I'm not sure, I never count! It's in the 100's though since I tend to delete songs if I haven't listened to them in a while.
I just have a regular mp3 player for them, idk how much space it has.

I have somewhere just over 2,000 songs on my computer which is pretty steep considering I very rarely listen to music outside of work lol.
