... Would you use this power to "delete" or wipe a certain video game from the face of the earth? Or, would you use this power to wipe a certain mechanic, character, or any other things that you find displeasing from within a video game?

What sort of things would you wipe out, and why?

I would wipe out the abomination that is C&C 4: Tiberian Twilight for being the biggest disgrace in C&C history. Also this game was the ultimate downfall for the C&C series, eventually being followed up by a game that started so well ending up being F2P and eventually being cancelled.

Something else I would consider to wipe out are Swarm Hosts in SC2. They are the most boring units to use and imo they are popcorn-strategy units.

As for game im not sure, as for mechanic: Escort missions. In most adventure/shooting games you sooner or later get one of these missions. Having to protect a totally defenseless NPC while being attacked by a horde of enemies is one of the worst things. Especially when the real problems is the NPCs AI...

Sorry, Fallout 3. I'm gonna have to wipe you off the face of the planet. All hard feelings are intended in this wipe. For clarification, I don't like Fallout 3. It basically took everything that was good with the first two Fallout's and trashed it, just to put more Elder Scrolls mechanics in.

I'm not fond of protecting this person/object missions. I'm fine with protect the castle, or hold the defense line missions, because those are more tolerable. But protecting -insert person- missions can be a huge pain due to how their A.I works, or how everything can take out whatever you're protecting with little to no sweat (looking at you rapha from FFT).

I would wipe out pokemon dash
    It's not fun
    It's boring

I will Delete All the Call of Duty Game's That come After Modern Warfare 2.
    They Are al Rubbish!

Hmmm, what would I delete from the world of gaming....I'd probably start with Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. But what else...

I never liked those escort missions either. Why devs haven't figured out how to make those not suck yet....

I thought you would've said Oracles.

I would most like get rid of MP7 from Call of Duty: Black Ops II. That thing so overpowered, you have no idea. :( It's lightweight so you could move it around extremely fast, takes only seconds to put bullets in, and kills enemies within just a blink of an eye. Aside from that, I'd also wipe out Blue Shell from Mario Kart.

If were on the topic of Call of Duty, then we should eliminate the One Man Amy + Grenade Launcher + Danger Close set up in Modern Warfare 2. It was a real scrub tactic as people could technically just launch grenades all the way across the map and still get kills. That, in my opinion, is when the series started to become broken.

Also tripping from Super Smash Bros Brawl. It didn't make a lot of sense having it in the game, as the random occurrence could give your opponent the upper hand at the most crucial moment, which makes it unfair.

I dont get how the devs thought random tripping would be a good idea.
I mean, if pro gamers prefer to play an older version of a game than the newer one, you are doing something wrong.

And i finally thought of a game series: Skylanders. What a disgrace to the legacy of Spyro games...

I absolutely hated those missions, particularly in Modern Warfare 2 (a rather fast-paced FPS), where you had to guard the target of a high value to the enemy from incoming Russians.

Urgh, MP7s. Everywhere in Modern Warfare 3, and everywhere in Black Ops 2. It's all you see in the killfeeds and killcams, and sadly in BO2, it's unlocked at the near beginning.

Along with the MP7, how about we get rid of grenade launchers from every Call of Duty game? Nothing worse than getting hit from behind by a noob tube~
As for games, let's get rid of Sonic 06, of course. This game (while showing devs what mistakes lead you to) should be wiped out, as the Sonic franchise's credibility would return. Really, it's this game that ruins the series.

I can't even begin to describe how much I love this statement. I can't tell you how many times I've missed out in the top three because one of these guys blew me up. I learned to counter them though. You just need to be so far ahead that it doesn't affect your position. :D

As the first video game I've ever gotten a headache from hating so much, If I could rid the world of Brink I would in a heartbeat.

    Ultima 9: Ascension. This is the worst ending to an excellent, revolutionary series, ever. I mean even if you've never played Ultima then you've felt the impact those games had on the entire genra. But that game is so horrible that I, and many others wish it never existed. ;-;

Hmmm...I can think of several, but the first on that comes to mind (and isn't already mentioned here) would be Metroid Other M. The developers made a monkey out of me with that game...it's Metroid, right? It must be good? What's that? Reviewers say it's bad because sexism? Clearly they must be joking...

    ....and then I played it.

The biggest problems I can think of are EA and mass marketing, which, surprise surprise, go hand in hand. I think marketing is a necessary evil, but there's a certain point where the advertising becomes extremely intrusive.

There are a ton of other problems that I'd love to remove though; day 1 DLC, digital preorder bonuses, publisher meddling, DRM, and microtransactions/very minor DLC.
