A lot of people think that Kotone looks like Mario. I don't see it that much, but oh well. xPWhy Maria? Does it have something to do with music or harps?
I've found out that Katone means "harp sound", so (I think someone said) Harper, or even Melody?
Either that or Flame? Because I also found that "Ka" in Japanese means "Fire" and "Ton" means "Elemental", Maybe even Sun.
EDIT: Blaze??
Hey, what about Hibiki now?Pokémon HeartGold / SoulSilver Versions said:Lyra: Did you see my MARILL?
Hibiki meaning Echo, I'm sure the developers may think of something more original than Jimmy from Pokémon Chronicles. Though, we'll see as more discussion on some of the other characters is taken place in the HGSS Official English Names Thread. ;) Regardless, Kotone's English name is known and I can't say I'm the least disappointed.Watch Hibiki just be named Jimmy.
