It's so wonderful when you have that weight lifted isn't it? I just wish I would get things done sooner, so I can feel that relief, instead of stressing until the last minute.

I'm chilling and still watching my way through the masked singer US. I'm very nearly through the last season now, and have just been utterly floored by a vocal performance!!!

I won't spoil it for anyone, and hopefully nobody spoils the final for me either 😅
 
I wish I could offer an easy solution, but I think the most helpful thing I can suggest is just... willpower I suppose? A lot of the time if I remember something that I need to do, I'll try to do it right away and not even get distracted by small things so that I guarantee it gets done right away and I don't forget. It's a lot easier with smaller tasks, which reminds me I need a glass of water.

I think it's just sort of that kind of thing I've tried to make into a habit for such a long time that I'm getting some success over it. Procrastination is really a mess but I know I've discussed that with you for a while before, haha.

The Masked Singer looks interesting! The whole "reality show" format is something I've kinda been interested in but never really taken the look into, and this is such a neat concept. I looked it up and found a wikipedia article, but it presented me with the names of the winners so if you're avoiding spoilers maybe... don't do that, haha. Spoilers are a mess and I've actually just had something spoiled for me last night about the story for the idol game I play, so I can relate to that and I hope you can finish the season without any spoiler issues!
 
I'm not really a fan of reality shows to be totally honest, but I do enjoy this one. Maybe that comes from listening to Japanese and Korean music over the years. Their whole systems are like one big reality show.

I'm watching the final in the next hour, so hopefully I'll be fine regarding spoilers! 😊

But I'm sorry that you got spoilers because of us talking about it. I hope you can somehow forget them, in case you ever do decide to watch it in the future :(
 
Ah, that's super cool! Usually I feel awkward mentioning how I enjoy the J-pop songs I do because I feel like it's seen as this "weird" thing or whatever since they're not in English. Enjoy the finale, hope it's exciting!

No worries, if anything I'm to blame for just sorta stumbling across them. There was some other reality show I watched years ago where I realized I'd been spoiled after the fact and simply forgot about it, so I'm sure something like that would happen. Some of my friends talk about Survivor often and while I'm not completely uninterested in watching it, I sorta just stop paying attention when they discuss it, and I don't remember anyone from the show except for how there are people with the same name as me.
 
I really hope that happens again then, and your masked singer memories get wiped 😅

There are other versions around the world too - I'm pretty sure it started in Korea for instance - so all is not lost!


I know it's a very easy thing to say... but I genuinely don't care what people think about what I watch or listen to anymore.

If someone has a problem with my likes, then it's their problem. I am long done feeling ashamed or embarrassed for something that brings me joy! Enjoy your J-pop 😊
 
Haha, it probably will be wiped because I didn't pay much attention to it when I realized it was a list of the winners. I think the more times I'd try to remember it, the harder it'd be to forget, so keeping my mind occupied off the names seems pretty likely when I didn't look at them for long. The idea of different shows being brought to different areas of the world is super cool though, I love seeing how that's a thing, especially with reality shows, it seems.

I'm definitely doing my best to break into that way of thinking and I think it's been a lot better for me! It's really helped meeting people with similar interests too, because then you have someone to go discuss it with without worries. It's really cool to see a lot of varied interests from people, so I think if I can offer that to people and receive it it keeps people interesting. It makes talking to people a lot more fun, even if I'm still easing the worry about going off about what I enjoy too much, haha.
 
finally Monday and thus back to being a regular here! will look into the convos later, but i'm looking at Seliph's new avatar and by golly it's so awesome!
