At the same time: don't sell yourself short. You too need to consider which pictures to use and how well they work with the overall theme of the character you use. That requires a lot of knowledge, too!
 
Looking really cloudy today... hopefully it won't rain too badly or my long workday is gonna suck.
 
Thought about keeping ocean flair after GT (without grunts tho) can't figure out CSS to size properly

And doing CSS for RP thread is hurting my brain too.

It's definitely much better than the forum for Star Wars: The Old Republic. That can get toxic sometimes... Honestly, I don't really go on it that much, other than with a question, suggestion, or something like that.

I don't seem to browse Off Topic much lately, usually axing it from my rounds because of lack of time.
 
When I took a theatre class in community college the teacher wouldn't let anyone discuss religion and politics, because it was so easy for fights to start and feelings to be hurt. Politics annoys me, so I was really glad that he did that. It might be one thing if people could be responsible and polite when discussing things like that, but far too often it just devolves into a big fight and people just throwing insults back and forth, without any real decent discussion going on.

I'm glad I'm apolitical.

I politely disagree. But I can agree that it's quite the rabbit hole that goes very deep. It's also no fun when you have people who even if they're objectively wrong still refuse to change their minds because to them it's some sort of team sports that they don't want to lose. <_<

My workplace is very conservative and occasionally people do talk politics here. One person in particular, someone who's actually younger than me, just can't seem to live without at least some sort of racist or sexist undertone in most things he's saying. And that when doesn't go full racist mode. <_<
 
I generally avoid getting involved with anything Politics related as not only is it not interesting, the people who like to talk about it get very annoying when you disagree with something.

Better to just ignore that stuff all together.
 
@Megan mmmm I was a little bit active there. Overall it was a good place to learn about others so I liked browsing the section. People generally let themselves be more vulnerable.

At the time Off Topic was much sillier. If you wanted to see a different side of the users here it was the only place to go. I don't think the merger was the best idea. Off-Topic basically swallowed the section and new threads aren't even common place. 'Emotion' 'What made you Smile' etc, those are usually at the front and there aren't that many new threads these days in off topic to begin with.
