Last One to Post Wins! v4

I don't like realistic games, I prefer more cartoony anime kinda games ^^"

Me too! Definitely more of a fan of the more artistic, expressive look rather than realistic. The latter sometimes falls into some weird uncanny valley type of stuff. I won't lie, it looks good, but I think some franchises tend to rely or focus on it too much and forgets how to do the rest of the game.

I like the old-school arcade games, which are endless and don't depend on story.

They require much more "reflex" than FPS games 🎮.

I never got into Angry Birds. Iirc I tried it out and it just didn't really appeal to me.

As for multiplayer games I only ever play co-op. If it doesn't have co-op, I'm playing SP.
If it's mp only and has neither a singeplayer campaign/mode and no co-op I just ain't playing it =P

I've never played Skyrim and know next to nothing about it. The only thing I know about the game is the "You're finally awake" meme.

For me the first meme to come to mind for Skyrim is this:

I'm in the 'played so much Skyrim you know it better than real life' club lmao. I've gone through the main game so many times now that I actually have a hard time playing it these days.
I used to do challenge runs where I had to complete every major questline + a whole bunch of sidequests that would take far too much time to list here, all in one life, with the game ticking up in difficulty every time I leveled up 5 times... Somehow I was able to do this lol.

That's such a complicated and stressful challenge. Hollow Knight kind of torture.

Add to that even counting deaths that resulted from glitches lol. Like the time I had just finished the Aetherium item quest and saved my game at the entrance to the dungeon to stop for the day, only to load back up for my next session where I loaded in up in the sky for some reason and plummeted to my death, only for the save to reload itself with me perfectly on the ground just fine... Yeah, I counted that death lmao.

I didn't knew about all these games which I came to know after joining the forum. This clearly shows how much away I am from gaming as a whole. Although none of them amused me enough to play them.

tbf emerald is paced kinda awkwardly. I feel like all Pokemon games have an issue like that at some point though.

Emerald has you do the Aqua Base and Magma Base back to back. Then on top of that you have to hike Mt Pyre and fight more grunts. (then a gym...and yet another grunt hideout underwater).

Johto does that too. Mahogany Town evil hideout, then the radio tower, into yet another underground hideout near the salon.
I don't really mind gen 2's pacing all too much. But gen1 and 2 do feel a lot faster due to the gameplay just being a little faster. I don't like the Mahogany Town Hideout but I think the other places are pretty alright.

My biggest issue with Emerald is that I grew up with Sapphire and as a result I just don't like a lot of the changes. In Sapphire people just added themselves to the Match Call without saying a thing. In Emerald you get a textbox after every fight a against a trainer who adds their number, you get random people calling you or showing up just to add their number and then there's Scott who keeps annyoing you at the most random times all like "you're so great" while I'm just like "shut up and let me play the game!". <_<

Also, yeah, they added the Magma Hideout and in my opinion it's the worst dungeon in the game...

Here's an interesting short video comparing speed of different generations.

Gen 1 and Gen 2 are the fastest for getting through text. However Gen 2 is among the slowest next to Gen 4 for actual battle speed.

I do use emulators, or rather did used them when I used to play the Pokemon games. The main reason behind that is the fact that Nintendo devices are not supported in our country, hence I need to import them from somewhere else, and then also I won't receive any sort of support.

Therefore it was necessary from my end to find out the ways so that I could play the old Pokemon games, and that's when I came across emulators, and because of it I managed to play all games till Gen-VII, and that's some sort of achievement for me. Even now when I want to play the old Pokemon games, I would reuse my emulators to play the games.

While the most of the world is busy wasting their time directly from Nintendo in their useless streaming, I am here to write my experience with emulators. I just hope that some better alternative pops up against Nintendo, which provide gaming support into PC, instead of their consoles. Playstation and XBox are available here, but then they are also very expensive, and the games their are not of my interest.

I've been doing more group things in Star Wars: The Old Republic- like operations- than I used to. The only group things I mainly used to do was queuing up for Veteran group flashpoints (the middle difficulty- from easy to hard: Story, Veteran, and Master- I've never done any Master content) and Player Versus Player. It's actually quite fun, provided the group has decent healers and tanks. I'm always a DPS (damage) so having good ones of the other two is great.

I've never played any Star Wars games. Heck I've only seen like... 2 movies? Neither of which was all that standout to me.

I've also never used any emulators as official hardware ftw!
