I've lived in england for 3 years and it does rain a fair amount, but not really hard, mostly grey weather and light rain if I remember correctly
I'm the same way, it just doesn't seem like my type of series. The only Dr. character I know (that isn't Mario lol) is Dr. House. Never watched any of the Who stuff, but from what I've heard about it from some of the people I watch vids from, it doesn't sound like something I'd be into. And the people I listened to who were talking about it were fans lol, so it was mostly the just ' the good stuff' about the series that I was hearing as well, it's just not for me.
My favorite Classic doctors are Eight, Seven, and Three. My favorite Modern doctors are Thirteen, Nine, and Fourteen.
The best places to start with Classic Who are 'Spearhead from Space' starring the Third Doctor, which is the first color episode, and 'Pyramid of Mars' starring the Fourth Doctor.
The best place to start with Modern Who is to watch the short 'The Night of the Doctor' - available on Youtube - and then jump into the pilot episode 'Rose' starring the Ninth Doctor.
Have a great trip!Gonna be going on a short trip for 2 days starting today so I won't be able to spam the forums then :(((((
