I often buy Milka or Merci nowadays. I used to buy Côte d'Or too, but they don't sell those at the Lidl and I'm not going to the more expensive supermarket for just that lol

I've heart bad things about Milka. Apparently they've been reducing the amount of chocolate (the bar size as well as cocoa) and just put more sugar in it at the same time. People also seem to agree that Rittersport is the better brand period. Though, I haven't eaten them in a long time. I usually just buy the cheap discounter product. ^^"
 
Clearly the best chocolate brand is Kinder!

I've had Ritter Sport but they've never really tasted as good tbh. I don't mind them on occasion, but wouldn't want them more regularly.
The Lidl has this brand whose name I can't remember atm that I also get quite often simply because cheaper even if the taste is a bit less =P

Though if we're gonna talk best chocolate brand period I'm going with this:

Their milk and dark chocolate bars are pretty good too, but I've been more of a White chocolate fan for a long time now lol

I think there's something wrong with your post- I don't see any chocolate (or any picture for that matter) in the spoiler box. *Innocently eats some Ferrero Rocher hazelnut white chocolate that he certainly didn't steal from the previous post*

Kinder as a brand has gotten way too expensive. And it's not that their products taste any better than what else is around. Another brand I kinda like are Mozart Kugeln. We used to have a small store that only sold their products. But they, too, closed at some point. :(

Been a little while since I've been here, what's going on?

I really like Ritter Sport but I can't remember the last time I had it? The different brightly coloured squares are really cute and eye-catching, I remember trying them just cause they caught my attention at the store and they had some strawberries and creme one, and I'm a sucker for that in any form. Usually when I have chocolate it's just the common cheap stuff (Aero, Kit-Kat, dollar store Hershey's bars, etc.) but it's nice to have something slightly above that every so often. I still have some icy squares that bf gifted me in our fridge because oh they're so good but melt so bad...
I also think Lindt is kinda overrated. I've seen them front and center at stores like they're the chocolate to buy for any holiday but they've just never tasted that good to me. Like they're trying too hard to be this super fancy thing, I guess, hard to explain exactly.
 
The Lindt chocolate bars in the commercials look rather thin... potentially a reason contributing to my never trying them lol

Their chocolate bars are on the other end of that.... too dang thick imo xD

Actually, the brand is called "Halloren" and their main product is "Halloren Kugeln". Mozart kugeln is just another one of their products. ^^"

The 99% and 100% bitter chocolate ones are only 50 gramms and are indeed very thin. But you never eat that much of them anyway. You basically break a piece off and keep it in your mouth for a while.
