Reason: Looks pretty good, I like the use of several different tree types, the paths look nice too. I don't think you used the ledges very well though, and there isn't enough forced grass walking, but then again if you did do that it might ruin the map. Btw is this a rom hack or is this on something like RMXP?

First half decent map I think, might be the start town for my hack. A few tile errors, Tree's when they cross over onto the mountain area.. (the sides of the tree's) I'll have to make a new tile for that. But eh, I like it. A bit of empty space, might fill it with something.. People, lol.
Rating: 2/10
Reason: Square map, too much empty space, impossible to reach cave and grass (therefore unnecessary). No paths used, tile errors too and I don't like the flower garden either. Ridiculously overused tiles and palletes. Sorry if I seem a bit too critical.

The cave will be reachable actually, in my hack theres gonna be a new item that lets you climb rocks.. >_>
But ok, the whole mapping things a work in progress.

looks nice to me but it is just me or the pokemon center is a lil bit small, anyway Ill Rate it a 8.5/10 and where did you got that ROM Base..?
I have the rom base from pokemon Fire Red (U), color follow to Pokemon Omega and tileset i got that in Shiny gold v5 :P

Pokémon Center I think it's bigger than pokémon fire red!

X-Buster: It is not a ROM base. Those tiles were stolen from Pokémon Omega (I say stolen, because Xiros does not want people using those tiles in other hacks).

Anyway, onto rating.

Rating: 6.5/10
Reason: Well, to say the least, it is still Viridian City, just with some new buildings and others rearranged. That said, it has a good flow to it. It also has a decent shape to it. Now, the details on the map are not bad, but they need work. Since this is a city and all,those DP flower patches don't rreally fit, as with the grass patches. The smaller trees (non-Cut ones) are also used in the wrong fashion, as they have a center tile. Now, there is one really wierd flaw. The patch of trees above the Youngtrainer and below the set of two houses, half of two trees is existant, and the other half of both of them is stuck in the building. I also noticed the complete left side of the map (where the mountains are) was left completely unchanged. Now, the last thing I noticed was that the building where the tree incident occurs is used wrong. That building should only be used for the gates between city and route.
Suggestions: Clear out the map before you make a new one, do not use route details in cities, use tiles the way they are supposed to be used, and make sure your mapping makes sense. Also, do not Xiros' tiles.

if this is true, then loitraitim you should appologize to Xiros before something really bad happens

Дон Пач is right, loitraitim, those tiles and palettes are from Pokémon Omega, so you'll have to remove them from your hack, since Xiros doesn't want anyone else to use them.

You're obviously using a translator, and I don't understand what you're saying.

I'm just telling you to remove the tiles and palettes from Omega that you used from the map and use the Fire Red ones or other ones that you are allowed to use.

Nice, I like the map. Even though I don't know how to rate Gold maps properly.
The map looks very nice and I like the cave in the corner and the lighthouse sorta thingy.

You should make all the roofs with 2 blocks, theres only one odd house out of the three. Try adding a mart, as there's a Gym. The player will need potions!

the plan is that the gym leader wont accept your challenge until you have a certain number of badges
i think that cave is gonna be the prof.'s lab
there will be a reason for the odd house :)
and that lighthouse will be home to a legendary
but before anyone explodes and goes 'OmG TEH LegEndArIe In Teh first T0wn J00 Sux0rZ!!'

its gonna be like hooh and you will need to have a certain item (aquired later in the game) to get past a guard
the difference is the guard will be outside the door and not blocking the stairs :) like the guy in tin tower

I like it, it gives off a nice relaxing feeling. However, it may be difficult to make a BorderTile with a map like that, due to the trees being out of place. :P

Nice, I like the region map alot!
I like the changes you made, especially the sea routes, but I think the sea routes should be a little lighter in pallete. But great work though!

i agree with C3LEBI-? my rating would be exactly the same and the sea palette should be lighter
btw im using nearly the same borde rblocks for my maps, but i make them 4 tiles high not 4 tiles wide^^
