Since Ray didn't really explain how to fix what he thought was bad:

Include more lone trees (or double trees) but try to keep the placement random rather than one on each side alternately.

Make the paths narrowers and give them some twists and turns to make them look less like glorified carpets.

Also, edit the tree columns so some of them have an extra tree, so that it looks less perfect.

You deserve a rating but you aren't imo a good mapper :/ Your maps are square... In the map of dawn town you recognize the mountains of viridian city... For a perfect rating for square maps ask Ray Maverick xD Boldur Shrine= 5/10 Haunted Forest= 4,5/10 Dawn Town: 3/10... I know it must be hard to get skipped 3 times in a row... Check out some mapping-tuts ;)

X.X please change the palettes... oO its too square and its too much grass in it... And why did you make a cross in the middle of the map? oO anyone dead there? However i don't like the map it's square and too much grass and playable space :/ i'll give it 3/10 check out some mapping-tuts ;)

Too many areas where there are lots of flowers, make the placement more random rather than pattern.

Not enough trees, too much grass.

The path isn't too bad, but it could do with being less uniform and square-ish.

Whats with the mountains? It seems pointless and something you thought of last minute to fill some place, take them out.

And Ditto on the patterned clearings ;)

what about a 10/10 ?
I think its perfect, i couldnt have done it better
actually i think iwouldnt even manage to make it that good :p
the shapes are natural, its not too easy and not too complex
the tiles and palettes match perfectly
i think there are a few really minor tile errors and some people might not like how the rocks are placed at the river ( i mean that you dont see all the rocks from the angle that the player has)
also the tree group in the bottom part of the map looks slightly unnatural
but still its one of the best maps ive seen so far, thats why it deserves a 10/10

I rate it 9.7/10. No squariness, good playability, not too much grass. The only thing is that I think that the river is too thin in the middle, the grass sticks out too much. The tiles and pallette are very pretty btw.:D

It's a nice simple route ;) I like the mixed nintendo-tileset with tiles from all gba-versions xD I'll give it a 9/10
