    This thread is to couple the Alcohol thread which has received so much attention.

    Not gunna lie, I just wanna see if people on PC are as one-sided about marijuana smoking as they are about alcohol.

    Do you guys smoke weed? Have you? Will you?

    If you have, do you like it? Do you still smoke?
     
    Don't smoke, have never smoked, and likely will not ever smoke. It's a bit of a sensitive thing for me because my dad went to jail/rehab for drugs, and I've had people choose drugs over me so I just tend to stay away. Don't really care if someone does smoke though, as long as they're not harming anyone else and it's not consuming their life to where they need help. So it's just kinda there. It's something I'd rather not try, but I don't really care if other people do it. I probably just won't wanna be around when you do, lol.

    Anyway, yes, I have smoked weed a few times before. I don't posses any myself, and I'm not really in the habit of smoking it. I've just done it at parties and stuff. It was fun, and I'd do it again.
     
    I abhor the smell and I can't smoke anyways (bad lungs), so no I've never done it and I don't ever intend to do it.
     
    I have done before and I will again, but I don't make a habit of regularly seeking it out. I prefer cigarettes most of the time.
     
    I don't smoke, and I don't think I ever will. I actually discourage it. I've been in situations with some of my peers in which I've been encouraged to smoke. I didn't even consider it. Honestly, it has changed the way I perceive some people. It has made me lose some friends, get into arguments.. and it just kind of makes my heart sink. This doesn't necessarily mean that I despise people who smoke; I don't really care. It's your choice. I'm acquainted with people who smoke, and it doesn't make my time with them less enjoyable. But, I don't really like being around people while they're smoking though. :x

    I want to say no, because I know I'd get addicted. I definitely won't do it while living with my parents, so college perhaps? I tend to stay on the safe side of things, but hey, I don't always make the best decisions. As of now, I'll say no, but I may try it for the hell of it, one of these days. I don't judge smokers, though, nor do I envy them, it's not really my place to do so.

    Probably, but I only do it occasionally. It's not addictive, and it's not really so amazing that every douchebag at a high school needs to gloat about it to impress their equally stupid peers.

    It's not addictive, so there's that in its favour, at least.

    To answer the question: no, I haven't, but I'd like to try it at least once. I've no desire to smoke cigarettes or do any 'harder' drugs, so to speak, but I've always wondered what marijuana is like. Curiosity more than anything else.

    No. No. And I don't plan on ever smoking weed, I dislike it personally. But I won't judge if other people do, it's their choice.

    It's like smoking i guess. I'm not a fan of it. I don't smoke in general.

    No, never - during my brief stint at university, I hung around with one of my friends from high school who happened to be doing the same course as I was. She and her boyfriend were huge weed smokers, they had a huge bong and everything, and they were smoking around me all the time. The smell was disgusting, I can't even get close to the stuff anymore without wanting to throw up.
     
    I will never smoke. Never ever will. My ex-boyfriend did smoke weed, and so did a couple of friends. Trust me, it was a baaaad smell.

    But I can't tell people what's bad about weed. If they like it, it's their choice.
     
    Love it, although I'm far from a 'let's get blasted out our minds everyday' smoker and haven't smoked in a month while jobsearching, even though it's always at hand. Love the taste, the smell (good weed smells good), and the high. I do smoke cigarettes regularly so I very rarely cough or get burned, which for some is a deterrent in itself.

    Definitely not a gateway drug though; there's an enormous level between marijuana and 'the harder stuff' that I have no intentions of trying. Known too many people/heard too many stories/etc
     
    Never tried it, but between where I grew up and where I went to college you could hardly escape it. I'm sensitive to the smoke and the smell. It irritates my eyes and nose. I don't care if people want to smoke it, but they better keep it away from me.
     
    I don't smoke cigarettes nor do I smoke marijuana or take any other type of drug.

    I have and know friends who do smoke the stuff and cigarettes but it just doesn't appeal to me. I detest smoking in general though, horrible habit and I was very happy my Dad gave it up.
