Mario Kart

I rarely let go of my multi-player games. Being that I'm mainly a single-player gamer, I never have an abundance of enjoyable multi-player games that I would keep around so the Mario games on the Gamecube are perfect for those times when I have people over. Mario Kart has always been my go-to.

I still have mario kart wii and my friend has double-dash so i play that when i go to his house!

And, Canada hype!

Double Dash would probably be my favourite, by far, but I enjoy the enhanced graphics in Mario Kart Wii, and for the sake of nostalgia, the SNES and N64 versions. Now I want to play...

I'm really looking forward to firing up the Wii U tomorrow and playing on 200cc. Should be a lot of fun.

Got both the second DLC and 200cc today. Baby Park's music changes each lap, the Animal Crossing track changes seasons at random rather than by real time, and Big Blue is a really long track, just like Mount Wario. I'm currently waiting for my brother to wake up to try out 200cc together.

First attempt at 200cc and came a close second, which is better than I expected. It definitely feels like 200cc changes up the game, just difficult on specific tracks with sharper corners such as Hyrule Circuit.

I don't think I even want to touch 200cc haha. As for Mario Kart itself, it's one of my favorites series. The only two games I don't own are Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart Wii, however I have played both so I'm not at a loss at least. Mario Kart 64 was my first N64 game and the game that made me want an N64 in the first place. Rainbow Road blew my mind, so the fact they remade it for MK8 is super nostalgic and special for me. :') I also really like Super Circuit, even though it's balls hard, lol. And I just got Double Dash!! last fall so I played that a LOT for about a month or so. Pretty fun, but I'd say it's pretty hard too...Super Circuit still has it beat though. There's so much you can unlock in that one and it's crazy difficult for me, even to this day.

If I had to pick a least favorite, I'd probably say MK7. I didn't get to play it much and I don't think I played much because I didn't find the tracks interesting or even memorable. Every time I see the MK7 tracks remade in MK8, I think, "This was in that game?" Exactly my thoughts last night when I played in Neo Bowser City, actually. lol

I got both DLC packs today. I havent played in awhile and never got around to obtaining the first DLC pack. I love them! I love the courses and characters. I really hope that in the future there will be more! Keeps the game fresh.

Tried out 200cc on Vs. Mode rather than Grand Prix. I did well on Mario Kart Stadium, but then I tried out Hyrule Circuit and Rainbow Road, and I've gotten 4th-5th place. I'm now afraid to do 200cc on Grand Prix Mode.

I haven't even touched 200cc and doubt I will, honestly. I don't even enjoy 150cc most of the time. :P Barely even played 150cc anyway so leaping to 200cc doesn't sound like a good idea.

I struggled with 200cc. I plan on practicing it, but man it may take me a while to get the hang of it.

I've enjoyed what I've played of 200cc. Good fun, and started to get the handle of drifting with a bit of brake to get around tight corners as well last night.

Love AC/Wild Woods/Ribbon Road/BIG BLUE courses. Neo Bowser is fun except for that part right after the second set of item boxes, darn hard to do turns without going rather slowly imo then. Baby Park is indeed chaotic fun, and my disappointment might be Big Cheese. Those turns are just a bugger at the max speed and it doesn't look that nice to me... I did have a really fun and close finish in 200cc single though with that, where I piped about 5 other races at the finish. Super tense.

200cc is insane. I enjoy it for a change of pace since it's so different from normal Mario Kart, but I think I'll still do most of my playing on 150cc since 200 has such a totally different feel and is so much more difficult than 150cc. 200 is almost too chaotic - though holy crap Baby Park is so much more fun on 200.

Nintendo got really creative with the GBA Ribbon Road track if you ask me. I mean, it's a freaking playroom this time around. On the other hand, Nintendo should conduct a poll of what retro tracks you would like to see in the next instalment...

One of my favorite series of all time! I've been a big fan of the Mario Kart series since the Mario Kart 64 on the N64 (when I was like 5). I've played all of the games excluding the SNES original or SNES (I've played like an emulator). Such a fun series, it has blown games like Diddy Kong Racing, Crash Bandicoot Racing out of the water! My favorite game was Mario Kart DS, back in the day it was so fun to race others online as R.O.B. Mario Kart 3DS is my second favorite, Mario Kart 8 was fun but I didn't like it nearly as much as some of the other games. Double Dash was super fun too!
