    I was watching Zhen2112's gameplay and I saw this in the buzznav:

    Look's like this replaces the game corner and essentially brings back the battle restaurants from X&Y.
     
    Sounds very interesting... I wonder what will become of Mauville City, maybe it's a prison.
     
    Indeed it sounds very similar to the restaurants in Lumiose City.

    Really hoping for no sushi store.
     
    I was always wondering how they would change the game corner this time around. FR/LG kept theirs, HG/SS had some annoying game for theirs, and apparently OR/AS will be getting a restaurant? Well if that's the case, I'm totally down with that.
     
    As I expected the Game Corner would get completely removed due to the anti-gambling laws and also making the games kid-friendly, but a restaurant replacing it was what I totally not expected.

    I do wonder if it'll work similar to the restaurants in Kalos, or maybe even the Battle Chateau. It's at least better than nothing, but we'll see how it works.

    By destroying our childhood gambling habits (gambling to get tons of Torchic dolls. IT WAS WORTH IT TO ME!), obviously.

    With anti-gambling laws in place, I'm not surprised to see it changed into a whole new building.

    I used the Roulette quite a bit in SE but I probably spent more time on the Restraunts in Pt and Y than the Roulette. So I hope that we'll get a Hoenn one. Maybe the Water E4 could make a cameo and work there.
     
    Oh, that's interesting! Of course, this doesn't totally rule out the return of the Game Corner (although I'd be surprised if it did return, due to the laws that have been in place since Platinum). I've found the restaurants in the past to be good places to level Pokémon up and the like, so it'd be nice if this one is similar.
    And I enjoy finding out how areas change in remakes! I wonder if Mauville has been expanded a little? I always felt it was a little small in the original games. For such an important city, anyway.
     
    This was something I discovered without the use of the internet. I actually spotted this when playing the demo and went online to post it somewhere. This sounds interesting, kinda like the Battle Cafe from Platinum.

    The only restaurant in all of Hoenn is open EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK? I can see why the NPC is so excited.
     
    It's a smart move by the developers if they really replaced the ol' Game Corner with a restaurant. They better make it fancy and high end and of course they should reuse the RSE Game Corner theme for this restaurant. :)
     
    I love the sound of this Food Court! I think it'll be a great new addition to the games and if it's anything like the restaurants in X/Y, I'm sure I'll find myself battling there all the time.
     
    The Food Court seems interesting. From the sounds of things, it may work in the same way as Lumiose's restaurants. Or it could work like the Seven Stars Restaurant in D/P/Pt. Either way, it seems like a good way to gain EXP and money.
     
    I did read an NPCS in the demo saying something like Mauville is the largest city, so I expect that there will be some kind of redesign since it was not large back in RSE, in fact, there were a lot of cities larger than it like Rustboro, Mosdeep, and Lilicove. I also wonder if they'll do anything with New Mauville since it was pretty much just some kind of power plant back in RSE. I really like how there will be restaurants, hope it will be somewhat similar to the ones in XY since I was actually thinking that it will be much harder to level grind in ORAS without the restaurants.
