Mermaid Melody Fan Club

After hearing Dolce Melodia, Legend of Mermaid sounds quite annoying. Torno dell Oceano is better than Ever Blue
 
I'v heard Dolce Melodia, but I still love the Japanese Version.
And I like Ever Blue but I havent heard any other version of that.
I'v heard the english version of Legend of Mermaid but thats it.
But I love Mizuiro no Senritsu. Its sooo pretty.
But I love all of their songs so I cant really say anything negative. Only that the Black Beauty Sisters make me feel wierd. Oh! My favorite mermaids Luchia! ^_^
I also think though Karen is pretty but when I first heard her sing I didnt think her voice went with herself.
 
The italian voices sound so much better. There is more power to thier voices. I"ve always thought Rina had a stronger voice than Hanon or Luchia, but thats my opinion. I think Luchia is annoying in the japanese version. Thats why I watched italian. (I could understand it better too, since I'm 60% Sicilian)

And, on a funny note, I'm on Spring Break in North Carolina, and I found myself looking to the ocean, singing Assoluto Amore (Sara's italian song) and hopingI'd see a jumping mermaid. XD
I found a black shell too, and it reminded me of Black Pearl Voice. XD

Yes, I'm quite the nerd.

I can also make some banners for this club if anyones interested. ^^;
 
If/when an English dub is made, I'd want it to be based off the Italian version. Besides, the song has the same idea as Legend of Mermaid, just a different tune and a different language.

Hehe, I watched some of the Italian version myself, but not for that reason. Ironically, I understood the Japanese more than I did the Italian, XD. I watched it because yes, I loved the music. ^_^

And like all lead magical girls before her, I was always annoyed with her at the start of the series. But as it progressed, I fell for her. XD

Well, I saw a preview on YouTube, and it looks like it'll be based off of the Japanese. But heh, maybe not just the Japanese. ^^
 
Supposedly an English dub was in development, but something happened and it feel through
 
The 2003-4 one (There's another in development?) Specifically when they showed part of "Super Love Songs!" being recorded, and part of the lyrics went "Come on, Come on, Come on!"
 
The version if Super Love Songs they were recording was pretty bad (but the VA they got for Hanon was surprisingly good, despite her being a little too enthusiastic)
 
A Mermaid Melody English dub can be done with the right company and the right VAs.
 
Hey, guys, wanna know something? I liked to imagined a cave where 7 magical jewels reside. Whenever a young girls enters the cave and comes in contact with one of these jewels, they are transformed into the mermaid of the same color as the jewel. Once after their transformation, they can never live on land (In other words, they're permanently mermaids). What do you think of that?

Hmm, a club RP could be a fun idea. I've RP'd MM before(and would still be doing so if the forum it was on was active anymore), and I wouldn't mind giving it another shot. =D
 
I've RPed MM here myself--only we didn't stop at just the MM songs, we used songs from American musical cartoons and (I think) Disney songs too.
 
Godammit, Alakazam, stop changing avatar each time I see you! >.< Lol...okay, you guys have convinced me to go watch the italian versions of the songs. 0_0 And a club RP would be cool...we made one in the Warriors fan club, though it died...but it'd be a bit weird RP'ing MM, don't you think? Being a mermaid would be nice, though.
 
You'll love the Italian songs....

If we do get a club RP going, would you rather use the Japanese songs, the Italian ones, a little of both, songs from American cartoons, or what?

Yay! The Italian songs are awesome, so you won't regret it. ^_^

And I think if/when an RP was set up, we could use Italian and Japanese, because they're both awesome in their own ways, and we couldn't leave either out. =P
