"The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment is a psychometric questionnaire designed to measure psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions."

Take your test, diagnose you personality types, and fill in that response to the poll. PLEASE VOTE FOR DATA COLLECTION PURPOSES! :)
    https://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp

I would love to see if there is a trend in the PC-community.

Also, explain a bit about your results, others results, and/or the extent to which you agree or disagree with the validity of these tests.

Check out this great resource of what your type means.

Here is the information on my type, INTP, for example:

    Interesting Facts
    • Abstract-minded systems analysts
    • Amongst the types with the highest average IQ
    • Strongly linked to the Schizotypal personality (Wow)
    • Somewhat linked to the Schizoid personality
    • More common amongst men than amongst women
    • Repress their Extroverted Feeling function, meaning that they may have difficulty emoting and figuring out what others need from them emotionally

List of notable persons, both historic and in modern culture.
    The list for me includes:
Tina Fey, Abe Lincoln, Charles Darwin, among others.

    Haha, this is neat!

I actually took this test when I first joined college as a part of a Freshman Seminar class. This online one isn't necessarily the "real" test, given that it actually costs a lot of money to take this test legitimately (granted, I took it almost two years ago now, so things may have changed). But it's a nifty little thing nonetheless. :)

I ended up with INTP. However, I don't recall that being my result when I had taken the test the first time. I'm fairly sure I was an Introverted Realistic Judging Feeler but, again, we're talking two years ago now.

I remember being very conflicted between my logical side and my artistic side while I took it though, so I'm positive something was skewed there anyway, haha. My point? Everything's probably wrong but I'm sure I've still got problems. :3

This was really fun and the first time that I have actually taken this test. I am an ISFP and moderately introverted.

    • You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (33%)
    • You have slight preference of Sensing over Intuition (12%)
    • You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (25%)

    I got: ENFP

    Extravert(22%) iNtuitive(50%) Feeling(38%) Perceiving(22)%

Dude you have no idea, but it fits me soo well and strokes my ego soo goooooood 8D

    • Quirky and verbally fluid people persons
    • Strongly linked to the Histrionic personality
    • Somewhat linked to the Narcissistic, Hypomaniac and Borderline personalities
    • More common in women than in men
    • Repress their Introverted Sensing function, meaning they sometimes experience flighty and inconsistent cognitive states and neglect to reflect on their past
eww no that's a nasty list.

For some ENFPs, relationships can be seriously tested by their short attention spans and emotional needs. ENFPs do get distracted, especially if another interesting issue comes along. They also tend towards procrastination, and dislike performing small, uninteresting tasks. ENFPs are most productive when working in a group with a few Js to handle the details and the deadlines.

ohhhhhhhhhhh yes wuts with all this introversion smh ENFP REPRESENT hahaha

I have entered multiple tests, and I often got INFP as the result, which suits me because I often go by feelings a lot.

    Introvert(11%) iNtuitive(25%) Feeling(75%) Perceiving(22%)

You have slight preference of Introversion over Extraversion (11%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (25%)
You have distinctive preference of Feeling over Thinking (75%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)

I don't need to take the test again because I'm actually quite a big fan of the MBTI (and other personality indicators like the enneagram system). I've taken it a lot of times anyway and I always get INFP with a strong preference towards Introversion, an almost-total preference towards Intuition, moderate Feeling, and almost totally balanced Perception. Being acquainted enough with the system I feel that INFP actually really accurately describes me for what it is. I don't take it that seriously, but I do enjoy talking about it with people, trying to categorise characters from fandoms I like, etc. so sometimes I read the forums based around the MBTI.

Over time I think I've transitioned from an INTJ to an INTP to an almost archetypal INFP.

I've just taken it right now and got INFP, here were the results:

    Introvert(67%) iNtuitive(12%) Feeling(50%) Perceiving(22)%

You have distinctive preference of Introversion over Extraversion (67%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (50%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)

So it seems it fits me well, but I have to say that Feeling over Thinking thing may be a bit off, that's because half the time I wasn't sure if I fitted in what I picked.

But of course, speaking ideally (that is, the kind of person I want to be), the score would emanate something like this:

    ENTJ

    Extravert(67%) iNtuitive(88%) Thinking(25%) Judging(33%)

You have distinctive preference of Extraversion over Introversion (67%)
You have strong preference of Intuition over Sensing (88%)
You have moderate preference of Thinking over Feeling (25%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (33%)

This thing, I suppose, is something I'd want to change into in my life, so I'd frequent this test to see how much I've changed. I wouldn't place too much importance on it though, I'm aware that real life experience and knowledge is more valuable than this test.

ISFP. I took this test around 3 years ago and still remember the results. Took it one more time a few months ago to reconfirm and got the same results so I can safely say that it more or less defines my personality.

Did it another time just to paste the below:

You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (56%)
You have marginal or no preference of Sensing over Intuition (1%)
You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (50%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)

    Catalyst.

    Nothing of significance

You have distinctive preference of Introversion over Extraversion (67%)

You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (11%)

Interesting; I've taken a similar test with not as many questions. I really like answering things like this and had fun too! I think one trend may be more introverts over extroverts. INFJ

    • You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (33%)
    • You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)
    • You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (50%)
    • You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (11%)

I got INTP again. I usually do, though sometimes I'm INFP or something similar, but always it's a very strong score on Introvert and a fairly strong score on Perceiving, and that seems pretty accurate.

    Introvert(100%) iNtuitive(12%) Thinking(12%) Perceiving(67)%

    • You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (100%)
    • You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
    • You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)
    • You have distinctive preference of Perceiving over Judging (67%)
I do hate how some of the questions are worded though. Sometimes I just want to put "neither" or something because I don't feel one way or the other about it.

    • You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
    • You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)
    • You have strong preference of Perceiving over Judging (89%)

I've known for a while that I'm an ISTP. I took the test again, and...

    Introvert(56%) Sensing(1%) Thinking(100%) Perceiving(22)%
    • You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (56%)
    • You have marginal or no preference of Sensing over Intuition (1%)
    • You have strong preference of Thinking over Feeling (100%)
    • You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)

...Which is the same as Steve Jobs, Tom Cruise, Snoop Dogg/Lion, and Vladimir Putin, of all people. .-.

    ESTP

    Extravert(11%) Sensing(38%) Thinking(1%) Perceiving(22)%

You have slight preference of Extraversion over Introversion (11%)
You have moderate preference of Sensing over Intuition (38%)
You have marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling (1%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)

Some questions were pretty vague so I just blazed through and got this. I think I've gotten couple of different but similar results before. I thought I was introverted, guess I'm not. (though it was pretty close)
