I've posted in your introduction thread already, but welcome again nonetheless! Have to agree with Hikari there; your avatar looks absolutely adorable. n__n Are there any others like this? I would love to use one, haha. Have fun here, and make sure to send me a VM if you ever feel like talking!
 
Hey all. There are too many posts to go through, so I just wanna say hi to all.
I'm really looking forward to becoming an active member on this site and making some fantastic new friends.

I'm looking to get into playing ROM's and this site has a wide variety of them, and hopefully some tutorials on how to use them (noob here when it comes to ROMs).
Other than that, I'm an avid fan lol. I've been playing since the first gen, all the way back to Red/Blue/Yellow.

Hey there! You'll be able to find all of the hacks that the members have created over on the Hacks Showcase section of the Emulation & ROM Hacking board. There are loads of great hacks there, and the guidelines on how to play them are all provided in each of the board! Basically, the jist of it is just downloading the hack, and patching it on to your ROM game of whatever game the ROM Hack is patched with, like Pokemon Fire Red, or something.

Hi everyone, I've done my best to be active on these forums for a short while :) and I just thought it would be good for me to know a little bit more about the people who are made up of this forum, and perhaps learn new ways of getting involved, making new friends etc.

Hi again Peitarchia! I know, I was just browsing through Deviantart and I managed to stumble upon it. I'm sure the artist wouldn't mind, just as long as you credit her :3

I've been here for a while but I never got rid of the feeling I'm a new user, so... xD

Too bad I don't have neither a DS nor a 3DS, so I've never played any game past Emerald and can't talk about them ;_; I'm always replaying hacks like Shinygold (yay! xD) or Liquid Crystal to make up for it.

Well, that's it for now, enough whining ;_;
 
Hello I am soulsilver124 and if you can tell I am a pokemon fan who just got into the rom hacking community and I got into pokemon ever since I was 2 then during my summer break I noticed someone doing a rom hack and I learned how to do one and I think I am ready

Heya Mirari, and late welcome to PC!

I feel for you not having the newer games, not everyone can get the systems necessary but I'm sure you can catch up soon enough given loads have changed since Emerald. But that won't stop you taking part in the actual discussions itself, because you might be interested in checking out our older Pokemon gaming sections which have great topics on the older games.

So, a hacker I see? Seems like you'll love the Emulation board which has everything pertaining to ROM hacks, and there's loads of hacks you can check out or even tools you can use to make one. I'm sure you'll be able to make a great hack to show to the world!

Have fun you two and if you need help just ask this section's moderators, Autumn Reverie and Dragon who would be glad to help you, but some of the veteran members might be happy to lend a hand as well. See you guys around!
 
I have only played up toblack and white then my Ds broke I never got a new one either. My wii broke too so no more poke park 2. All I have left are gba emulators but I remain a fan. Ever since i was little my friends played pokemon. When I was about 5 everyone basically hated it and called me things for playing it but I'm 10 and still a die hard fan. Thanks for the welcome everyone by the way:)

Aw, that's terrible. How did you break your DS? Mine fell out of my hand countless amount of times before, but thankfully, it still works like a charm. I also dropped water on it while drinking, but nothing bad happened to it. Amazing, right? Also, what happened to your Wii, exactly? Are you planning on getting replacements soon? If so, you should definitely get 3DS, so that you could join us all and play X/Y. :)
 
Oddly enough I don't know about either of em. My D's spits out any cartridge I put in it and then I lost it. My wii doesn't read disks any more. They r both old so I guess they just wore out. Hopefully I get replacements though I'm not really sure

Welcome to PokéCommunity, Phase! Nice to meet you. Since you're into game-making, you should definitely check out our Game Development board. We've got a lot of people over there with the same, exact interest, so you'll be able to make a lot of friends. I don't think were really going to spend the money to get it fixed. I think I'll just play roms which convineantly shave their own section
 
Well hello everyone. I am Manozz.

For the first time in life I have finally been able to get the newest pokemon game before it's been out for two or three years.

So that being said I am entirely new to the scene of Global trading and even Extreme pokemon training.

I've got EV training down and I kind of know how to breed for Shinies. If you bring up IV's and all that fancy stuff I'm completely lost, but I'm currently doing my research.

Basically I'm trying to be in the competitive scene so I can connect with people around the world who enjoy Pokemon just as much as I do. I also want to become a breeder and open up shop one day so I can send out all kinds of pokemon.

Also all terminology is lost on me. I couldn't tell a hacked pokemon from a legit one. I Saw mention of someone wanting a pokemon with Memories and I was totally lost on that. So if you bring up things I don't understand please bear with me when I ask you questions about it. I'll get it eventually. If I am one thing it's a quick learner.
